I worked at a job in Houston and was amazed at the hostility of my co-workers aimed at people from Louisiana. It was amazing. One of my black co-workers, who was also from Louisiana, expressed disgust at it to me. My co-workers did not know I was from Louisiana since I evidently did not fit their pattern of someone from Louisiana. They would be embarrassed when they unloaded about people from Louisiana in my presence and another co-worker whispered something in private.
These were the same people who would express disgust at what they considered racial animus at the same table.
My point is a question: Why anti-Semitism, hostility aimed at a race, more wrong than hostility aimed at any other group? Had I been Jewish and they said the exact same thing about Jews, I could have gotten them fired.
It’s been a thing for thousands of years, based on various pretexts. Regional animus comes and goes. anti-Semitism is forever. Why? The fact remains. The pretext changes, as Mr. Murray expounds at length. Blacks have a different physical appearance, so that makes them a target. Jews, however, are often indistinguishable from anyone else, and the bias continues.
Dutch reads like something from 14th century England.
Define anti-semitism? Not being able to criticize Israel and their national policies. Unable to criticize Jews with whom you disagree? That is not anti-semitism. Take your lumps, because Jews and Israel are not special.
If you think about it, why should anybody or thing be off limits for criticism? If it is physically violent, it breaks a law. If it hurts feelings? suck it up buttercup..
Anti-semitism in the West seems to be equal parts muslim immigrants and wacked out leftists, both of whom want to Destroy Western Civilization.
The muslims were unwisely brought in by globalistas and their populaces are unwilling to eject them. muslims will out breed locals this century, and Western Europe will be gone.
Had anti-semitism merely been a problem of radical leftists who don’t reproduce, it would not be the fundamental problem that will ruin them.
Now, it is far too late. I recommend all sentient Christians and Jews leave Western Europe for the sake if their progeny.
It’s not hard to identify. Tearing down posters of hostages, celebrating the October 7 massacre on October 8, those are pretty easy to classify as anti-Semitism, and those are the subject of the lecture.
Shooting a straw-man argument from the hips that’s entirely unrelated to Douglas Murray’s lecture might be motivated by anti-Semitism, but I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt, and instead call you a dum bass flaunting his arrogance and and proudly wallowing in his ignorance.
I take plenty of lumps, and dish them out, too.

Making criticism of one group illegal, with criminal penalties is not only euroish but violates the 1st amendment.
It’s a sign of the end times. Christians will also be hated.
They used to be out of necessity. They will be again as Europe morphs into Eurabia and from there inevitably into You’reashitholia. So why not get into the habit now, while they have the means, before they founder. Gentlemen, start your engine, and hire Phillipinos nannies. You can bang them, too, if the wife doesn’t mind.
