Tight race for the North Carolina Supreme Court is heading to another recount
MY NORTHWEST ^ | 12/3/24 | AP

The very close election for a North Carolina Supreme Court seat heads next to a hand recount even as election officials announced a machine recount of over 5.5 million ballots resulted in no margin change between the candidates.

The statewide machine recount — in which ballots were run again through tabulators — that wrapped up this week showed Democratic Associate Justice Allison Riggs with a 734-vote lead over Republican challenger Jefferson Griffin, who is a Court of Appeals judge.

Most county election boards reported minor vote changes from the machine recount requested by Griffin. But State Board of Elections data showed the post-recount lead but that lead dwindled and flipped to Riggs as tens of thousands of qualifying provisional and absentee ballots were added to the totals through the canvass.

Griffin, who already has pending election protests challenging the validity of more than 60,000 ballots counted statewide, has asked for a partial hand-to-eye recount, which county boards will start Wednesday or Thursday.

If there wasn't so much election fraud, there would be fewer recounts. IMHO.

For many decades, absentee ballots didn’t change election results.

State Supreme courts, state governorships and secretary of state offices are VERY important in the vote fraud schemes of "The Countin' Party".

If Ron DeSantis had been robbed by The Pervert Faggot in 2018, Florida would have gone for Pedo Joe Biden in 2020.

All of these RAT month long counts and recounts are all of the proof I need to know that election fraud is rampant and widespread. The RATs throw a tantrum and insist that they be allowed to continue counting until they win.

yup.

mike lindell and friends can, and have, proven that 6 ways from sunday in at least 51 different ways about 2020.

MOUNTAINS of evidence.

For many decades absentee ballots were almost all Republican, along with military.

I did see where N.C. now requires photo ID to apply for mail-in ballots. I think it was the NY Times that was whining about photo ID for mail-in being unusual. Made me feel better about Trump’s chances when I read the article.

At least this isn’t a flip for Dems, it’s just the Dem Justice retaining her seat. Far as I know Repubs still have a 5-2 majority on the N.C. Supreme Ct (hope I’m right about that).

Just counting the ballots is not enough. Checking that the ballots have legit voters behind them is the key.

No nation has ever experienced such an abundance of multi-million-voter knife-edge election results before. Year after year, this is statistically impossible without the involvement of institutional cheating. Democracy is no longer a fair fight. The Demonrats are fighting with knives.

Exactly—that means at a minimum reviewing the addresses of voters to verify that it is a residential location and is not currently vacant.

These days that can be done online in seconds per address.

Trump warned everyone about cheating. He promised arrests. We need to hold him to that promise. And we need to hammer Congress to pass legislation to improve integrity of federal elections.

I think the only thing worse than Democrat appointed judges are judges by elections.

Judges are supposed to NOT be about popularity, period, but instead about the laws and our Constutitutions, even if sticking by them is unpopular. Popular elections of judges always is an abuse of that concept and I bet often results in judges who care more about the next election than the laws and the constitutions.
