Baron told Donald that Chad was a bad choice.
Was this Bondi’s choice?
Is that actually Baron? He sure is inquisitive.
I believe so. Hope the heck she’s the next one to get axed. She’s a terrible choice.
Barron. Not Baron.
that would totally suck
YAY!!
“This sheriff ordered the arrest of a pastor for holding services during the COVID panic. He was tapped by Trump to head the DEA. Glad to see him withdraw from consideration. Next time politicians lose their ever-lovin minds, he can redeem himself by following the Constitution.”
Thomas Massie
Why I thought it was a bad pick to begin with...Seems Barron has a better sense than Trump or his handlers..
I live in the county neighboring Hillsborough County and until Trump nominated this Sheriff I had never heard his name.
Since the Sheriff is from a very Democrat county, I had my concerns about this.
So who was the person or persons that were pushing Trump to make this choice?????
Pam Bondi is a disaster .
The Trayvon Martin FL AG who pushed that scam .
Session Part 2 .
This DEA pick has her all over it .
There have been many people complaining about this pick since it was announced.
Oh boy. I hope everyone is wrong about her but I doubting at this point. It’s important that all his first choices get through
What’s with Florida? All these Florida appointees are far from stellar choices - Bondi, RINO Rubio,Chronister
Where did Baron acquire this enhanced insights into character?
See tagline.
“Trump or his handlers”
Handlers are at it again.
Trump needs to come read the FR to get the real skinny on what’s up...
Trump has always been weak on picking good folks.
I believe Steven K. Bannon was all over this from his Monday show. He was talking to Sheriff Mack, who was adamant that Trump had to change his mind on this prospective appointment of Chronister.
And Trump did change his mind. I keep hearing people say Barron Trump had something to do with that. I don’t see that anywhere. It seems silly, but if someone has a link, I would consider it a possibility.
So, if he was getting bad advice on what was likely a political favor granted by Trump, for whatever reason, it is also true that someone else had Trump’s ear and convinced him to renege on the appointment.
And Trump obviously told Chronister to withdraw on his own, which Chronister did, minimizing the blowback.
On his show last night, Steve Bannon promised that he would get this information in front of Trump. Did he do so?
Was Bannon the one who called it in, and Trump, in debt to a man who went to jail on the principle of protecting him with a valid rejection (as he should have) for an illegal subpoena from the J6 Committee, showed his loyalty to Bannon?
I like the dynamic, if that is what happened. I would prefer Trump had not nominated him, and as the article indicates, it was Pam Bondi who likely recommended him, so I hope Trump keeps this in mind. But in the end, I believe it also shows that Trump can listen to people who have his ear.
Tom Homan may have also had a hand in this rejection of Chronister as well. In any case, I expect Trump will propose a more suitable candidate.
Making mistakes happens. Not correcting a mistake is the real mistake. And I fully respect people who know when they should correct a mistake.
