ALBANY, N.Y. (WCAX) - New York on Jan. 1 will become the first state to require employers to provide up to 20 hours of paid time off during pregnancy.

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul said the goal of the program is to make sure expecting mothers don’t have to decide between losing pay and missing appointments.

“That means they can not be missing the prenatal appointments — which are so important for a mom’s health to keep a regularly scheduled appointment with her doctor to make sure that if anything is going wrong with her health or the baby’s, they’re getting attention early enough to make sure that there’s no complications late,” said Hochul, D-New York.

Starting on Tuesday, New York is rolling out a public information campaign to make sure everyone knows their rights to PTO for prenatal care.

Those 20 hours are in addition to the up to 12 weeks of leave after childbirth.

Why do they have to pay for a “clump of cells?”

So carry clump of cells
and benefit for 8 months and then get state paid abortion to top off the sham.

Obviously, the State is now firmly in control of business in NY State. There goes another half a trillion in tax revenue. Goodbye NY, hello Texas!

Prenatal seems to imply something of value in the womb

It’s the same in residential real estate investing. All the new “tenant protections” (aka bad tenant retention) designed to give the tenant more private property rights than the actual owner and to bankrupt the latter.

I predict women of birthing age will be passed over for men and older women on most jobs.

But hey, hooters will still hire them. At least till they get knocked up.
