Nothing. And Smith hasn’t been charged with anything. By the democrats wanting him pardoned, it does certainly make it look like he acted illegally. They re admitting it.
I wonder how many millions given to Jill or Hunter or Slow Joe’s brother; it would take to get Smith a Presidential pardon?
Slow Joe pardoned his business partner for anything over an 11 year period so that the “next DOJ” could not pressure him to flip and expose the rest of his Biden crime family. Now the DOJ has nothing to use to pressure Hunter.

If Smith is pardoned, the silver lining is that he won’t be able to Invoke the 5th Amendment if he is called before Congress to testify about the weaponization of the DOJ.
I don’t think the presidential pardon power should override the Bill of Rights later made part of the Constitution.
The criminal offense of violating Trump’s constitutional rights provided by amendments should be not subject to the pardon power of the unamended Constitution.
So they just want to start playing fast and loose with the pardon power, huh? They’re opening a real Pandora’s box here if they do. It’s high time for Republicans to start playing hard ball.
Corruption and stupidity is a really bad combination, democrats.
If they start pardoning all the corrupt democrats, it will be in the tens of thousands.
