The Kash Patel nomination is making all the right people very nervous
American Thinker ^ | Andrea Widburg

Last night, Donald Trump announced that he was nominating Kash Patel to serve as FBI director. Every person in America who believes in liberty and honest government should be celebrating that announcement.

...

Kash has made clear that his goal is to shut down the FBI, which has no constitutional mandate, so the executive and his most trusted agents have wide latitude to manage it. Then, Kash will return the good agents to work on actual federal crimes rather than persecuting the Democrat party’s ideological enemies.

Currently, the usual suspects are saying that Kash is unqualified because he didn’t rise up within the ranks of the FBI. Bill Barr exemplifies this attitude, although he was speaking of Kash as a potential Deputy FBI director, and acknowledges that directors needn’t be insiders:

...

I’d advise all 100 senators to confirm Kash’s appointment. Otherwise, rightly or wrongly, people are going to assume that their refusal to confirm him is because their names show up in those lists. In other words, Kash isn’t just an awesome practical choice; he’s also a litmus test of our senators’ moral courage and clear consciences.

Release all the lists, the names and details. Make public "public records" as to which "assets" assisted the current crop of Democrats to harass and jail ordinary Americans. Epstein lists. Diddy lists. J6 FBI personnel lists, and the like.

I’ve seen this movie too many times. It’s Lucy and the football. This is about to go the direction of Gaetz.

Get ready for the withdrawal of the nomination in 3, 2, 1. The GOP establishment is already circling the wagons with the Democrats to prevent this.

I am thrilled about this.

Releasing lists, videos and memos re: the cover-up of democrat crimes, and ALL for the world to see!

If THIS doesn’t destroy the democrats and Obama’s “legacy”, I don’t know what WILL.

Quite interesting to watch this all unfold.

Still< Trump should do us the courtesy of giving us time to stock up on the popcorn, butter and salt before doing things like this.

Oh - and ice cold Coke.

Are you kidding? You couldn't find enough senators with a clear conscience to fill a phone booth, even if each one of them weighed 300 pounds.

I think that’s what she saying. Failing the litmus test in this case is an admission of guilt (i.e., a lack of moral courage and clear conscience).

I would suggest you watch the Shawn Ryan Podcast interview with Kash Patel. It is on YouTube. It may also be on Rumble and Spotify. It was taped about six months ago.

Yeah, I get that. Which is why Patel’s confirmation would seem pretty unlikely.

And the Congressional slush fund that pays for ‘sexual harassment’.

If they can’t keep their zipper up or their mouths shut, they should personally pay the bill in public.
