Democrats are trying to figure out how they lost massive numbers of working class voters in historically blue areas across the country — but the evidence shows that the party simply left them behind.
USA Today interviewed multiple former Democrats in the liberal enclave of Massachusetts who cast their votes for President-elect Donald Trump in the recent election, and their main reason was the economy.
Mark Callahan, a 67-year-old from Lynn, a suburb of Boston, voted Democrat in nearly every presidential election prior to this year. Now, he said he hopes that Trump will “make a change.”

MA is hopeless. A bunch of people here do understand reality, but not nearly enough. Most MA residents are desperate to be “The Good Guys” so they support the party of infanticide, child sex trafficking and perpetual warfare. They understand that Trump is literally Hitler, so they know he must be stopped. We are a very educated state. That’s probably the problem.
Massachusetts people are supreme assholes.

If they have yet to listen and pay attention to the very obvious clues left for them (literally posted on billboards), then Democrats will never understand why they lost so many working class voters across the nation.

I have two very good friends in Mass. who are wealthy . Hubby is a pro drummer and grandson of former P&G President . Wife has serious TDS and he’s a libe as well . Both friendly , kind and generous people but totally and forever ultra Lib . All of their friends , inc. many other musicians the same .

Suffolk (Boston) - 78-16 in ‘16; 74-22 in ‘24.
Statewide 60-33 in ‘16; 61-36 in ‘24.

i knew the blue collar in MA wasn’t onboard with the left.
they brought in 20m+ illegals who were taking their jobs and crushing their pay.

I have one relative in MA who still considers themselves liberal but I think they are starting to come around...

They still can’t figure out which of the “terms of service” they are alleged to have violated....
I really enjoyed standing out at intersections for Trump leading up to the election (except for two of them, which sucked due to Leftists deciding to be who they are)
In my blue state, we got a lot of support for Trump. I believe in this state there are baked in illegalities that favor the Democrat Party. I strongly feel Trump got more than the 36% he is credited with.
