Georgia and Syria. What are the chances of two revolutions happening before Trump takes office?
Were these in the works for later but had to be fast tracked?

“Were these in the works for later but had to be fast tracked?”
That’s my thinking. Not sure on Syria, but there is NO WAY that Georgia’s government will allow their country to become another wasteland like Ukraine - the Neocons are simply out of luck on that project.

Georgia was a communist state before. There is no way that the Georgians old enough to remember will allow an EU socialist/communist union.

What I think too. From the “color revolution” experts.

Socialism is the desire of lazy people who do not want to do the hard work to face competition by achieving excellence.
Communism adds to socialism serious envy of the successful class of people. Absolutely no one can be allowed to be richer and more successful than themselves, except the party members.

Well Victoria Nuland was seen in Tbilisi holding a bunch of cookies for some odd reason.

I wonder how much this one cost us...

The city is truly beautiful. I visited Tbilisi last month and am saddened to see this happening. The most amusing thing I learned from my trip was from the owners of the modest hotel I stayed in. From my balcony, I could see the president's residence right across the alley. I learned that she lives in a very average home, not in some presidential residence or palace. They also told me that if I were to go out around 9am, I could see her walking her dog around the neighborhood. Also surprising to me, they said she only has one bodyguard, not a team of security. They also mentioned that her role is largely ceremonial, with real power resting in the hands of parliament, making her just a figurehead.
This is where I stayed. Her place looks pretty much the same on the other side of this building (just to give you an idea of what the neighborhood looks like.

Sounds like “Cookies” Nuland and her neocon pals have been hard at work trying to make her “unpleasant surprises” predictions come true.
