I hope they set up a desk on the inauguration stage and Trump signs about 8 dozen EOs immediately after swearing in, just to set the tone.

Agree, and should be priority one for the new Congress, not just by EO, so that it cannot be undone by the next Brandon that comes along....

And I can’t see any SCOTUS ruling making it ex-post facto, so it would only help going forward.
Trump only has four years, and I see this taking quite a bit longer. There’s lots of swamp to be drained.
I read that DJT has ~60 EO’s ready to sign the afternoon of Jan. 20.
That would be a great symbolic message of what I hope would be more permanent things to come.
My late father when he was in civil service loathed the GSA. Far too much control. Like many things, it may have been a good enough idea when it began but it morphed into something more of a problem than advantage.
The GSA primarily handles basic government real estate, procurement and technology issues. The problem comes when they have been tasked to set government policy and that is where the den of snakes reside and derive their power to do mischief. Gut that section/mission and let the GSA live on in a modified form to do the practical work that the governments needs done. They should be pretty busy over the next four years selling or reutilizing government facilities that will become uneeded excess.

Makes sense. The punishment would fit the crime. Speaking of crime, I’m pretty sure crimes were committed.
