Surveillance video showed Hegseth, Doe, and another female proceeding to Knuckles at 11:58 p.m. The female told police that she was having a private conversation with Hegseth at Knuckles. The female said Hegseth had placed his hand on her knee, with which she was not uncomfortable, and he had asked her to accompany him to his hotel room, whereupon Doe entered the conversation to perform what the female called the “crotch block.”
At around 1:15, Doe and Hegseth, per video, left Knuckles arm in arm, both walking well. At 1:30 the front desk received a complaint of loud talking near the swimming pool. The employee encountered Doe and Hegseth there, whereupon Doe placed her arm around Hegseth and led him away. The employee said that while Hegseth appeared intoxicated, Doe did not. According to Hegseth, Doe accompanied him to his room, but to his surprise, sat down and did not leave. Hegseth told the police he was confused by this since he had done far more talking at Knuckles with another woman, but had not thought of Doe.
Eventually, though, per Hegseth, things “progressed” between him and Doe. Doe asked him if he had a condom, which he did not, but she then said she would go forward without one, which they did, with her on top. Hegseth expressed concern that Doe would get in trouble with her husband, but Doe assured him that she would tell her husband that she fell asleep. She did tell her husband, when she finally arrived at her hotel room at 4 a.m., that she had fallen asleep.
Every person interviewed noted no signs in Doe of any extreme intoxication, confirmed by the video, hotel employees, the other female, and Hegseth.

This article contains too much information (for folks with a queasy stomach, like me), but it looks like this rape accusation is baseless.
The accuser should face consequences for false testimony.

Doe’s husband put together what happened and this woman’s only out for cheating on him was that she got raped.
I wonder if those two are still together? Staying with a woman who cheated on you, and then concocted a rape story, doesn’t seem like a great life plan.
Excellent rebuttal. Don’t believe there’s a Democrat out there, much less a Deep Stater, who would keep their ears open while hearing this explanation. They’ve already decided guilt, punishment and absolute glee at the chance of “getting” Trump ONE MORE TIME while planning who to humiliate him with next. Truth is totally irrelevant to the Senate voters. Fairness doesn’t matter. History of supporting the Dems choices is “different” so shouldn’t be brought up at this time of great virtue signaling.
If Trump allows this nominee to drop out, too, then it doesn’t stop here. The power to hurt Trump becomes a cascade.
Additionally, Trump has been similarly accused. If he intended to put it to his own accusers by ignoring similar attacks on people he deemed perfect for his purposes, he damages his own self image to let them win against his pseudo selves.

If you are wealthy or in the public eye this is why the Pence rule is so important. Never be alone with a woman who is not your wife. You will be set up. It’s the Dems go-to tactic.
I wonder if this isn't the first time she has slept with another man and that the husband is OK with it. Maybe they're secretly "swingers"?

False accusers should get the same penalty that the falsely accused man would have gotten.
