A paper shredding truck was spotted on Tuesday outside the Justice Department, according to a photo from the Oversight Project.
The truck’s appearance suggests the agency is destroying sensitive paperwork before the Trump administration takes power.
"Today a paper shredding truck arrived,” the Oversight Project posted on X. “We have maintained a physical investigative presence by the @TheJusticeDept, which also is more convenient for cooperating sources.”
The sighting comes after President-elect Donald Trump nominated former Rep. Matt Gaetz last week as attorney general to clean up the bureaucracy. “Matt will end Weaponized Government, protect our Borders, dismantle Criminal Organizations and restore Americans’ badly-shattered Faith and Confidence in the Justice Department,” Trump said in his announcement.
Trump transition adviser Mark Paoletta warned DOJ career attorneys last week that subverting, undermining, or sabotaging Trump’s incoming agenda will be cause for termination.

...fancy that...
Closing in on da Bidenskyyyyyyyy mafioso.
hmmm,
Funny place for a paper shredding truck
They could at least hide the name on the truck. Perhaps, “all your paper belongs to us”
Should be considered a crime worthy of death.
It’s too bad the GOP didn’t hire a “hacker” to “hack” that truck.
Trump’s doj reps ought to grab a few 18 wheelers and paint ACME paper shredding on them and go around collecting all the dox.
They just made our job easier. Destroying records which the have been ordered to preserve. They cannot prove that they did not destroy “those” records since they destroyed records! That’s a fireable offense, so notrial, no going through HR, etc! Just here’s your empty file box (kind of ironic, isn’t it?) and there’s the door!
DoJ -- and any law firm or large company that deal with sensitive information -- shred paper all the time. That's why paper-shredding companies exist and are able to stay in business. Just because a truck happens to be there the week after Gaetz was nominated is meaningless.
Are we sure this is real?
Well most records also exist electronically so the cover-ups just show where (and who) to seek for related intel.
You forgot the sarcasm tag.
Not using the loading docks or where the trash dumpsters are in the back of the building.
Out front, in our face.
In the movies that truck would pull into a warehouse where Stephen K. Brannon would open the doors and a flood of unshredded paper would fall out.
It’s the Clinton M.O.: Obstruction charges are easier to be beat than espionage, sedition, bribery, murder . . .
+1. This.
Good question. I just posted the photo in the article.
FIFY. Again, the Repugnant Party in Kongress is showing its utter disdain for righteousness and underscores more of the obstacles POTUS Trump is going to encounter.
