Asevered horse’s head has been left on the property of a businessman in Sicily in an act of mafia intimidation reminiscent of a scene from The Godfather. The bloodied head was left on the seat of a digger belonging to the construction contractor in the town of Altofonte near Palermo, the regional capital of Sicily. The building contractor in Sicily has reported the act of intimidation to the police, who are investigating. A local newspaper described it as “like scenes from a horror movie”. The man is well known in the area and his company regularly undertakes building works for local councils.

She offered her “total solidarity” to the businessman, adding: “Our whole community is deeply shocked for an act which seems to take us back to medieval times. I have faith in the forces of law and order working to ascertain what happened and identify who is behind this dreadful act.”

I hope someone is getting a role in the reboot of From Here to Eternity.
“I don’t like violence, Tom. I’m a businessman. Blood is a big expense.”
Not that I want any horses or other innocent critters to be harmed at all, but there are about 10,000 people living or working in Washington, D.C. who need to wake up to find (the equivalent of) a horse’s head in their bed.
“Now you listen to me, you smooth-talking son of a bitch, let me lay it on the line for you and your boss, whoever he is! Johnny Fontaine will never get that movie! I don’t care how many dago guinea wop greaseball goombahs come out of the woodwork!”
Killing a horse isn’t going to make Congress do right.
It was more effective in the movie because it was Jack Woltz’ personal $600,000 horse. (~8.5 mil today)
In today’s world, a Squirrel’s head, sans rest of body, might be sufficient, cheaper and easier to obtain than a dissected, discarded Horse’s head. Lighter wet work.
He was sleeping with that little girl too, the one who cut that cake for her birthday party at the studio when Tom first met him.
It’s in a deleted scene of The Godfather.
Tom sees her outside of a bedroom and the mother yells for her to get back in.
What a mom.
Maybe he doesn’t get such a vicious response otherwise...a bad one...but maybe not as vicious.
Poor horse
The Woltz character was much more sleazier in the Novel.
These guys have never seen the Godfather based on how they are describing this.

Despite all the hit movies, if there’s anything more idiotic than mafiosi culture, I don’t know what it might be.
The Godfather - Deleted Scene - After Dinner
How old is the girl anyway?
Maybe they could remake it with Diddy.
HANG ON: THEY ARE COMING: ELON & VIVEK TO THE RESCUE
BOTH OF THOSE MOVES ARE TOTALLY BARBARIC.
NEITHER THE HORSE OR THE COW EVER DID ANYTHING WRONG.

In 8th grade there was a Teacher in Her early 30’s or so who was beautiful and was very cool and would joke around with Her classes but still did the job of being a Teacher. One day She and one of My Friends were bantering back and forth about something that I can’t remember. Anyway She fired away telling the guy that one day he was going to “wake up with a Horse’s Head in his bed.”
He fired right back at Her with “and You’re going to wake up with the other end of the Horse in Your bed.”
The entire Class got a laugh out of it, then suddenly She was not smiling and joking anymore. She took offense to that and sent him to the Principals office. He got away with a stern warning.
