BREAKING: Chuck Schumer just confirmed another lifelong federal judge with a vote of 50-48. Republican Senators Ted Cruz and Mike Braun didn't show up to block the confirmation by making it 50-50.
Kamala is currently in Hawaii, so she couldn't have cast the tie-breaking vote.
Senator JD Vance is our VP-elect and still took time out of his busy schedule to show up & vote. Where were Ted Cruz and Mike Braun? We could've stopped this nomination or, at the very least, slowed down Schumer. If Republicans were the ones speedrunning confirmations like Schumer, every Democrat Senator would be in town.

Why Didn't Thune call an all hands on deck? Trump has seen his first example of how unreliable Thune is. Trump needs to have his own line of communication with MAGA Senators who will warn him of pending issues like this. He can't count on Thune.

Well then the other pro-pedo judge could have been blocked, since Fetterman didn't show up, and Kamala was still gone, and it would have been 49-50.

You know, there’s an ability to fly from Hawaii to Washington D.C. when necessary. Just sayin’. And guess what, the ‘RATS would have had her fly back if that had been necessary.
It’s unclear whether the Republicans can prevent these confirmations, even if all were present, but at least make the Dems work for it. Make Kamala haul her lazy ass back to Washington. Force Fetterman to show up to vote.
At the very least, it’s bad optics. Senators need to get in there and do their jobs, regardless of whether or not they end up losing the vote.

The important thing is Ted Cruz got to hang with Trump and Elon, and just won re-election so we can count on his conservative vote in the Senate.
Make them fly back. Make them get off their asses to get their judges confirmed. Just allowing it is asinine.
The future of our country is at stake here. And there are 20-30 more of these judges they are going to confirm.
