President Biden’s decision to provide anti-personnel mines to Ukraine, and allow the use of long-range missiles on Russian territory comes as the Russian military is accelerating its gains along the front line.
Data from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) shows that Russia has gained almost six times as much territory in 2024 as it did in 2023, and is advancing towards key Ukrainian logistical hubs in the eastern Donbas region.
Meanwhile, Ukraine's surprise incursion into Russia's Kursk region is faltering. Russian troops have pushed Kyiv's offensive backwards. Experts have questioned the success of the offensive, with one calling it a "strategic catastrophe" given manpower shortages faced by Ukraine.

Our president, the great moral leader giving mines to a despotic looser.
For generations to come men women and children will lose their lives or their limbs because Biden decided that propping up his ally in crime was more important than the lives of future generations.
“Ukraine front could ‘collapse’ as Russia gains accelerate, experts warn”
The quicker the better.
Except the BBC is the biggest Ukraine supporter on the planet!
Remember when there was a goal to make all of Europe free of land mines? When will Bono and Geldof get the music community together to make a song for peace ?
Bono is too busy getting it in the end from “Big Mike” Obama...
And among the Rooskies is "a defence researcher at Kings College London."
And "Col Yevgeny Sasyko, a former head of strategic communications with Ukraine's general staff...."
It reminds of the Freeper who her theory a while back:
"The ‘PUTIN-Biden-Clinton-Obama’ cartel did used Ukraine as a FRONT to stage their money-laundering by using Russian agents embedded BY PUTIN in the Ukraine government: Ukrainian deep-state!It is a fascinating time in which to live.President Zelensky is still trying to remove Ukraine CORRUPT “deep state created by Putin!”
Source: Ukraine CORRUPT “deep state created by Putin with Biden in the cartel
Bono threatened to drive his car off a cliff if Trump won the election. I check each day for that news from the UK. :)
good
Yep.
As much as I may or may not at various times have fluctuated between neutral or hostile to Ukraine (depending on how many billions of dollars taken out of MY pocket and those of my fellow taxpayers and sent against my will to them) I now fully hope they are overrun before we can be dragged into this by giving them this weaponry and approving its use.
And the sooner the better.
9But the NONSENSICAL stories that are absolutely impossible about ukraine’s 1,000 victories (why dont they have 25 percent of Russia instead of vice versa?) are believed by dolts so easily :)
For anyone here who maybe was 40 in the 80s, you are being suckered by neocons..and honestly, it’s a disgrace.
The day that scummy a-hole Zelensky stuck out his hand and arrogantly demanded money as if it belonged to him is the day I went from sympathizing to rejection.
Given their role in the persecution of Donald Trump and the hobbling of our country’s governance due to the vile people in our government who have fostered ties with them (The Clintons, the Bidens, the Vindemanns, McCain, Nuland, et al) who are domestic enemies of this Republic, I was inclined from the start to be unsympathetic, but even more so when that SOB DEMANDED money.
Not our problem. Not Trump’s problem. Let it collapse. Whatevs.
No, this is the reality on the ground based on US/UK sources. Read the article.
Who wants to be the last man to die for a mistake? Everyone knows that once Trump assumes office, the war will come to an end. A negotiated solution is the only way this ten year war ends.
Biden’s actions are a sign of desperation. He hopes to keep the war going till he leaves office so the Dems can blame Trump for losing the war.
Weren’t landmines outlawed by the Geneva Convention a long time ago? Or just Republican land mines?
