Obama-Biden-Clinton nuclear giveaway to Russia a decade ago comes back to bite America

The U.S. nuclear energy sector’s dependence on Russian uranium created during a failed Obama-era reset with Moscow is coming back to bite Americans as the Kremlin moves to block future exports of the vital fuel.

Vladimir Putin’s new restrictions on uranium exports to the U.S., announced last week, come as the country’s war in Ukraine continues to heighten tensions with the United States and the West. His announcement created an immediate impact, as uranium prices soared and worries grew that American utilities might have trouble meeting electric demand next year.

It's the latest fallout from a series of foreign policy decisions crafted by Barack Obama, Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton that inexplicably strengthened Putin's ability to wage economic warfare with energy supplies such as natural gas and uranium.

"Everything the Democrats have done has emboldened Russia and their ability to actually leverage their dirty gas production," Rep. Claudia Tenney, R-N.Y., told the Just the News, No Noise television show on Monday night. Tenney's House district is home to New York's remaining nuclear power reactors.

We have all the fissile material we will ever need.

We have enough reactor fuel for the next 1000 years.

We can nationalize what the Klintoons sold to Russia anytime. Story is a nothing burger.

Still that act of the giveaway was typical act of a vicious traitor and accomplished murderess.

Speaking of murder are any police working on the mysterious death of Obama’s gay chef?

The Russians had/have ZERO interest in USA uranium producers. As soon as they bought Uranium One (which had a couple mines in the USA) the Russians shut them down or sold them. Like much of American infrastructure, they were old and uneconomical. The old US Uranium One assets are now in the hands of American owners and have been for a decade. These mines are slowly turning back on

what the Russians REALLY were after were Uranium One's joint ventures for new mines in Kazakhstan. 15 years later, Russia and China now have a stranglehold on Kazakhstan U3O8, the worlds largest source.

And YES, the Clintons made BIG money with "donations" from Uranium One's Canadian/US owners for helping smooth the deal.

Nice way of saying Hillary sold our uranium rights to Russia. I wonder how many 'speeches' Russia bought from Hillary the white trash witch to get that deal.

Actually, there are many abandoned Uranium mines all over the USA.
We could easily restart bunch of them!

It's not a bug, it's a feature. Especially if you want(ed) to end nuclear power in the US. Unfortunately, the big tech dem donors have (finally) figured out you can't run a server farm on sunshine and unicorn farts.

No, that small US part of the Uranium One deal was sold off by the Russians long ago. The Uranium in discussion is what they export to us.

FBI’s 37 secret pages of memos about Russia, Clintons and Uranium One
by John Solomon, opinion contributor - 10/01/18 5:45 PM ET

Eight years after its informant uncovered criminal wrongdoing inside Russia’s nuclear industry, the FBI has identified 37 pages of documents that might reveal what agents told the Obama administration, then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and others about the controversial Uranium One deal.

There’s just one problem: The FBI claims it must keep the memos secret from the public.

Their excuses for the veil of nondisclosure range from protecting national security and law enforcement techniques to guarding the privacy of individual Americans and the ability of agencies to communicate with each other.

Sound familiar?
