It seems like Marco Rubio is changing his stance on immigration in an attempt to please voters and the Republican Party.
In a Boston Globe article recently, Rubio’s immigration positions were outlined.
In October 2010, Rubio stated that any earned path to citizenship constituted amnesty and that he was opposed to it. This occurred during a Senate debate in Florida.
In April 2012, Rubio began to introduce his own version of the DREAM Act, granted legal status to undocumented children. It is at this point, that Rubio first supports an immigration bill that would benefit undocumented immigrants.
In December 2012, Rubio is selected and agrees to join the Gang of Eight made up of senators from each party to try to work out an agreement on comprehensive immigration reform. This marks the first time when Rubio actually supports a comprehensive approach to fixing the immigration system and providing legal status to those already here in an undocumented status.

As for the replacement, FAFO with Matt Gaetz. No confirmation means the Dems deal with him in Little Marco’s seat for the next thirty years.
President Trump’s problem is picking good people who won’t backstab him or get manipulated/threatened/bribed. I hope he’s learned. He seems in better shape this time so best of luck to him. He will face daily opposition/death threats. The libs still control the mass media so expect lots of anarchy. God bless Trump.

After Obama (67 states), Bush II (listening to Cheney and invading Iraq) Biden (totally stupefied from birth) and running against a female idiot, President Trump is so refreshingly competent that I can now, at 88, die peacefully.
I think he was talking about illegal aliens and not folks who have green cards or are otherwise legal residents.

The Trump team has done nothing yet. When they dive in in January, permanent DC and the press are going to bring the artillery like never in history.
Trump didn't do squat to mass deport illegals last time (as predicted), and I don't think he will this time either. If the past and his construction/hotel/golf course business are any indication, he'll focus upon criminal illegals and stop there.
The way the Deep State owned him during COVID shutdowns showed he's no 4D chess player either. Trump may be the best we've got, but elevating him to this level keeps us from keeping his feet to the fire, thus perpetuating a disaster in long term civilizational demography. He speaks to the latter from time to time regarding birth rates (and I'm glad for it), but it ends up as a mixed message.

What I see is that Trump has learned. There are no DC insiders here other than perhaps Waltz, who I know little about. Everyone he’s picked is a non DC insider who is 100% MAGA or is easily controlled. Little Marco, a senate insider has been neutralized. He plays ball or he’s out on his backside.
We voted for Trump and HIS foreign policy. This time we’ll get all the potential out of Trump.
How much money will Soros and crew pump into to legally challenging every deportation? He has already mobilized his Big Blue Crap Hole city DA minions to do everything possible to gum up the works.
