What Happens When Conservatives Help Democrats Win A State Senate Seat?
Political Potatoes ^ | 11/14/2024 | Gregory Graf

Posted on 11/16/2024 1:40:40 PM PST by Habanero

In the recent District 26 race, the Idaho Freedom Foundation (IFF) showed its true colors, claiming to stand for conservative Republican values while quietly working to undermine them. Through a manipulative, behind-the-scenes strategy, IFF and its operatives put their power over principles, supporting a spoiler candidate to weaken a genuine conservative Republican and help a Democrat win.

Is it hypocritical for conservatives to call Republicans RINOs when they are helping elect Democrats who support Abortion?

Perhaps it’s time we admit the following truth. There are only two ‘parties’ in this nation. Those who support the Constitution and the principles and morals of our Founders, and those who do not. The letters beside the name have become irrelevant for the most part.

RINO article. The IFF are patriots and Idaho has too long been beholden to the Rockefeller New World Order Republicans. I have no issue with running true conservatives in opposition. Maybe next time the GOP will wise up and choose the America First candidate.

“What Happens When Conservatives Help Democrats Win A State Senate Seat?”

Not gonna happen. Whoever asked the question does not realize that anyone who backs a dim is, in actuality, a dim and not really a conservative, period, and that is true even if the says that he is conservative.

This is a BS article. The premise of the article is that if true conservatives don’t hold their nose and vote for the establishment candidate they are then “helping” democrats. Maybe if the establishment Republicans ran better candidates that appealed to a broader party base this wouldn’t happen.

Blaine County wasn’t going Republican anyway. It’s one of two Idaho counties that went for Harris.

Anyone that agrees with this article is a closet Never-Trumper.

Look up Gregory Graf, the author of this drivel, and you’ll find that he’s associated with the “Reclaim Idaho” movement. This is a scam group of establishment Bushies and Democrats whose stated goal is to “make Idaho work for all Idahoans”. He’s was supporter of Prop 1 that was the Ranked Choice Voting initiative that was just overwhelmingly rejected by sane Idahoans.

Isn’t it interesting that Habanero has only posted 7 times on this forum and each of those was to promote sham conservatives like “Idaho Conservatives” and “Political Potatoes”. It makes one wonder if you are Gregory Graf and posting to your own websites and opinion articles. If you truly believe you are right, why the deception? Oh I know, the truth is that you are part of the effort to turn Idaho blue. Get lost man!

This article is terrible and misleading. Perhaps it is outright propaganda.

The question needs to be asked, because it is not present in the article, so nobody knows the answer.

Is Kala Tate the Establishment Republican?
Is Laurie Lickley the Establishment Republican?

The article kind of paints Tate as some wacko rightist, but Lickley is only “claimed to be a RINO” by Tate and this does not, to me, appear to be fully fleshed out one way or the other.

I can speak from personal experience in my districts that RINOs have a way of making promises, breaking every last one of them for 1.5 years or 5.5 years and then all of a sudden they’re frigging Ronald Reagan in the next election, only to start breaking promises right back again three days after the election. Dust isn’t even settled yet and they’re already out there stabbing backs left and right. And then come election and Reagan is back.

An entrenched Establishment Republican must be defeated, all options are on the table.

I cannot speak for this particular election, but I had always hoped for a subversion campaign like this to sink Mitch McConnell and get him the heck out of the Senate.

I wish someone would sabotage Lindsey Graham as well. These guys become barnacles in their seats and waste generations of our time helping out the democrats and then they die in office as if Congress is a nursing home. Meanwhile our children suffer for it.

All of this lost time cannot be regained.

So far what I have seen from Thune, I would love to see him lose his next re-election in the general election. The general, not the primary! (Well, that too) I said the GENERAL. What a powerful message that would send.

You republicans cannot rely on conservative votes anymore. Keep your promises or keep your suitcases dust free cause you are going home.

“Whoever asked the question does not realize that anyone who backs a dim is, in actuality, a dim and not really a conservative, period, and that is true even if the says that he is conservative.”

So if a Democrat runs as a Republican in order to get elected, all conservatives are obligated to vote for the RINO. Is that your position?

I am sure it his position. Here is more about Gregory Graf:

https://www.postregister.com/news/government/gregory-graf-files-counterclaims-in-legal-battle-with-chad-christensen/article_aab4d06f-04b4-5f21-bd82-169a3d16c2ca.html

In that he is described as follows:

“Graf is a political strategist and activist who advocates for moderate conservative policies and candidates in Idaho, a role that has put him at odds with Christensen, who skews further right.”

He also supports Open Primaries in addition to RCV according to his Twitter X page: https://x.com/politicaltaters

Idaho has a ‘good ol’ boy’ problem, & Dorothy Moon is a true conservative. And she’s fighting those good ol’ boys as best she can. I’m with those who call this article ‘drivel’.

I found more info. This guy and his wife are clearly leftists masquerading as conservatives. That is the strategy of the left to turn Idaho blue. So many leftists move here and join the Republican party and then virtue signal for "moderate" or "inclusive" policies. They can't win on their own merits, so they choose to deceive. I am confident Habanero is Gregory Graf. Again, if you need to pretend to be something you are not to trick others into supporting your position, you are a fraud. Greg’s and his wife's Facebook pages clearly show that they are left of center, pro-LGBTQ+ and probably voted Harris or third party (see below images). Graf supported every liberal Republican candidate for office. I live in Idaho District 1 and Jim Woodward won the Republican nomination through deception and Democrat crossovers. The Bonner County Republican Party even refused to endorse Jim Woodward during the general election because he was such an obvious leftist plant. Even the Democrats didn't field a candidate against Woodward since they were perfectly fine with him. Sadly, we couldn’t get the word out to enough folks that the independent candidate for State Senate in District 1 was the true American First candidate and Woodward won. This highly conservative MAGA district has been hoodwinked by the likes of Gregory Graf and Jim Woodward. Not to worry though, we are going to deal with this mess in the next election. Greg (Habanero), your wife Andrea is right about one thing though, Darkness can only exist in the absence of light and your lies and subterfuge are now exposed! Graf2"> Graf1 ">

“Is that your position?”

No, of course not. I was merely opining that the dims are unscrupulous and never to be trusted.

Cornyn, for example. There are many more RINOs but I simply gave to you one as an example.
