Why?
Because out of control government is out of control.
That’s what Montana is for, I guess.
Gruesome Newsome is worthless.
Exactly.
Plus, California is going to add a 68-cent tax to gasoline.
“Why?”
They are saving the planet from climate change.
Like they are saving democracy.
Like they are saving us from disinformation.
Like they are saving us from Covid.
this law has a loophole big enough to drive an RV through.
but still glad I will never live in california
What’s Cauliphonya trying to do? Cut down on tornadoes?
this law has a loophole big enough to drive an RV through.”
For now. What is the loophole?
They start with the Diesel pusher class A’s.
Then they come for your gasoline powered Super C’s.
Then before you know it, the only thing they let you have is a three speed bicycle, which you need a state permit and tax stamp to ride on the public roads.
I hear this leaves Ford as the only chassis maker who could still produce a diesel chassis that could be sold in California.
Califubar strikes again.
Hmm. If something creates “smoke” does that mean that the “smoke” never dissipates according to the science of the left?
We have some pretty wild diesel trucks in Texas and some of them have exhaust tips as big as a large coffee can. I’ve been behind one of those that belts out a huge plume of smoke but later when I drive past the same spot that huge plume of smoke is gone. I’m not a scientist except for those computer thingy’s but it seems to me that something that gets filtered out by the air to the point it does not exist might not be that dangerous?
From ChatGPT:
Yes, under current regulations, you can camp in California with an RV that doesn’t meet the state’s new emissions standards, provided it’s purchased and registered in another state. California’s emissions regulations primarily target vehicles registered within the state. Out-of-state RVs used for personal, non-commercial purposes are generally exempt from these requirements.
RV TRAVEL
However, it’s important to note that California has implemented the Clean Truck Check program, which mandates emissions testing for heavy-duty vehicles over 14,000 pounds GVWR. This program includes out-of-state vehicles operating in California. As of January 1, 2025, such vehicles must comply with emissions testing requirements.
CALIFORNIA AIR RESOURCES BOARD
Therefore, while you can use an out-of-state registered RV in California, you may be subject to specific emissions testing if your vehicle exceeds the 14,000-pound threshold. It’s advisable to stay informed about these regulations to ensure compliance during your travels.
Diesel class A restrictions. Will there goes any band tour bus and ALL the Ruth movie star’s motor homes .
14,000 pounds, hell my Chevy 2500 diesel and 22 foot camper weighs over 14,000 pounds
Gee, for some reason all the RVs are registered in Montana for some reason?
Kind of makes you wonder how big Ford’s campaign donations were to Gruesome.
