Now the deep-state can control who Trump appoints to Attorney General and the FBI.

How would they do that? By not confirming his appointments?
To: PGR88
Yep. It’s all over. Hey, when you call Donald to tell him to go home and forget it, tell him I said, ‘Hello!’

McConnell is all smiles. I wonder who decided that it would be a secret ballot?

All the Country Club RINOs care about is staying in office and becoming wealthy. What is good for the country and its citizens is a tertiary concern at best.

Why is it secret?
We are their bosses! They work for us.

What would it take to force another vote? Say a month or two in it has become clear Thune is undermining Trump and kick the American electorate in the teeth for defying the elites. There must be a mechanism to force a new vote - what does it take?

Yep. It’s all over. Hey, when you call Donald to tell him to go home and forget it, tell him I said, ‘Hello!’ What are you even talking about?

Thune will be known as a HERO or TRAITOR of the MAGA movement within days of him becoming Majority Leader in the first days of January.
All eyes will be on him.

Apparently reports that Scott was a distant third to Thune and Cornyn were accurate. I’m no Thune fan, but Cornyn is a Republican only because Texas can’t elect Democrats. So this is a win of sorts, I guess. What we really need is someone who will force more votes on bills, or at least votes on filibusters.
