This morning, I’ll be voting for Rick Scott for GOP Leader, as I did two years ago.

In 2022, I helped lead the charge for Rick against McConnell & I’m proud to stand with him again.
For 12 yrs, I’ve been unequivocal that we need to change GOP Leadership—and now we finally will.

Does anyone know. Are the new Senators elect involved in this vote?

If it has to be one of the three running I’m happy with what he’s doing.

We were successful in turning Marsha Blackburn yesterday, who has announced that she’ll be supporting Scott instead of Thune. I believe she was pounced on by everybody.

Not involved. They haven't taken their seats yet.

Then this is a really stupid process. Senators leaving are electing the leadership for the incoming Senators. What a corrupt clown show

Does anyone know. Are the new Senators elect involved in this vote? At first I thought this was to fill in for the remainder of *this* session with McConnell stepping aside. Good luck the person chosen will be voted in by the new Senate in January.

Thun or Cornhole will not change a thing.

That leaked “whip” had him in fir Thune, though thread that night had him in for Cornyn. That whip count was fake out ofthe box. after what Mcconnell and his boys did to Cruz (no money) he wasn’t voting for any of them.

I think it might be Scott due to the other two splitting votes.

I think it might be Scott due to the other two splitting votes. If it needs to be a majority, there's a good chance no one gets that in a first vote. If so, then they'll eliminate the 3rd place finisher and re-vote on the remaining two. Unless somehow Scott can get a majority on the first vote, it's likely to not be him.

This is great news! We saw a thread/article a few days ago that supposedly had the inside scoop on this. They had Cruise not voting for Scott, with Scott coming in a distant 3rd.

“Talk to the founders”
This has nothing to do with the founders, this is internal Republican decision making about when they are electing their leadership.
