How much should anyone pay to buy MSNBC?

Did you watch War Room this morning? Poso said they were contemplating a bid.
I would buy it for $1 just for the pleasure of firing everyone there!
MSNBC stars Joy Reid offered to do a pole dance in a thong and Lawrence O’Donnell offered to do a topless male strip with a black bow tie.
Only emboldened the inner circle to sell.
their only real asset is that they are in the basic bundle
ATT held onto CNN until after the 2020 elections.
ATT/Warner, Comcast, & Disney used their respective media properties to interfere with the elections. That can all go to all.
Comcast hates America. Comcast hates you!
FU, Comcast!
You don’t sell at the bottom. You hire a turnaround artist to rid of all the hardcore Lefties and install some real journalists.
RE: won’t be reviewing any of their resumes.
Heard the MSNBC stars have experience transporting and cleaning portable toilets at outdoor events. Including summer ones in Arizona.
Truth Social should buy it.
Better yet, someone should buy it and turn it into an actual news channel that does objective reporting.
Throw in four fried chickens and a Coke. Maybe some dry white toast.
The Net is going to have more Newsrooms filing for bankruptcy and closing than it already does fast food joints.
LOL!
Musk should but it for pennies on the dollar.
Maybe the contracts of their “talent” make this a losing proposition.
RE: Looks like Mika’s gonna have to find a new line of work. Pole dancer, perhaps?

Too much WINNING! ;)
I suppose there is some value there, meaning some money to be made by someone. A buyer would need to lock in long term cable carrier contracts. They probably need to cut staff and high salaries, likely cutting loose most of their current on air talent. Maybe change the model, and cut up shows into a lot more short content for syndication on YT and X et al. They could still be a left leaning network, that is their base they can’t cut loose all their customers. But it’s a bit of a risk. And if Trump and Congress decide to ban drug advertising then it’s probably a money losing proposition.
With numbers like that, the price should be pretty cheap** (**like MSNBC is)
You know, not sure if they would be too much, but say MSNBC does get bought, with its charter to be straight reporting —see if a Sheryl Attkisson or Catherine Herridge would sign on.
Just guessing here, but what a turnaround guy might do in this case is have lawyers go over all the "journo" contracts and move the bad news bunch to less damaging time slots where possible and, if that's not possible, try to negotiate some severance settlements.
If the contracts are with MSNBC only and Comcast isn't liable, Comcast might threaten MSNBC with bankruptcy. That would encourage some flexibility on the part of these journo contract holders.
