President-Elect Donald Trump had made peace in Europe a key campaign pledge, but several NATO member states are dedicated to total Ukrainian victory and will discuss how to “thwart” him and keep Kyiv in the war even if Washington withdraws support.
London, Paris, and Warsaw are to form the nucleus of a European effort to keep Ukraine’s defensive war against Russia going even if the Trump Presidency from January 2025 tries to bring an end to the Ukraine war. Exactly how he will achieve this campaign pledge has not been publicly articulated to date. However, a ‘land swap’ between Kyiv and Moscow or a Korean-style demilitarised zone has been discussed as options open to Trump, neither of which aligns with Ukraine’s official ambition of total victor.
British Tory-aligned broadsheet The Daily Telegraph cites senior government — but unnamed — sources who tell of what the paper says is “expected to plot a last-ditch attempt to thwart Donald Trump’s efforts to scale back US support for Ukraine”. British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer is in Paris today, having reviewed troops with French President Emmanuel Macron on the streets of Paris for Armistice Day, and the pair had talks on defence matters during the day.

Poland’s freaking out about Russia potentially invading them.
Poland has age-old grudges against Russia and this is their first chance in a lifetime to get some.
Good, let them take over 100% of the cost and supplies. At least with Israel we get a ROI!

We’ve spent enough on the Ukie flustercluck. We may also need all of our weapons and ammunition to stop the invasion of America by Mexico. Mexico is getting froggy about our Bill of Rights. They may need a lesson in American history. There is not going to be a Cinco of Mayo II.

Poland has a tough army. If Russia tried to move on Poland, Russia would get one hell of a bloody nose. Plus Poland is in NATO. So I can’t see Russia attacking Poland.
Nevertheless, you are very much on the right track. Poland has a (well-deserved) traditional mistrust of Russia. So being that group is not unexpected.
I think in the end peace will satisfy neither side. Russian doesn’t get Ukraine but Ukraine is blocked from NATO so it can serve as a DMZ style buffer between Russia and the West.
With even Finland and Sweden in NATO now, Putin’s dream of being the new Tzar is dead.

Keep conspiring and declare war on Russia and see what happens. But, keep us out of it.
Hopefully, America can return the favor and make Britain, France, and Poland Muzzie Caliphates and kept out of America.

If Poland wants a piece of the Russians, let them and/or Britain and France declare war and fight them and see what happens.
Trump is going to end this war whether they like it or not.
