FINALLY: Trump Will END the Federal Department of Education. Sending it back to states.
Please defund NPR, too.
I have to believe that’s coming. I need therapy for all this winning. it’s too much winning! Not used to this.
That’s the way it should’ve always been.......
Hallelujah!
I think NPR is the worst media liar. Worse than MSNBC, CNN, etc. because it is widely regarded as the “gold standard” of impartiality which it is absolutely not. It is more “stealth” and more subtle which makes it very difficult to combat with colleagues who mistakenly rely on it for news.
Central power in education only makes curriculum printing companies rich. Each state’s curriculum and choice options should be made public. They should have a leftist ranking so parents know which states are more traditional and which are more progressive.
The biggest no-brainer in government. The Department of Education should have been eliminated long ago. The only reason it exists is to use federal grants to coerce local school districts into conforming to a leftist political agenda, and to serve as a centralized authority to push leftism nationwide.
It’s a start. :)
Npr once bragged about not needing federal assistance and as soon as doing that very thing was mentioned they started yelling “they want to kill big bird”.......well I say call their bluff and do it already.
There is no bigger oxymoron than “Department of Education”.
Please, oh please, President Trump, get read of that collection of losers.
well said
If only ...
Hallelujah.
Awesome. That one act alone earns him the Presidency.
I’ll celebrate when the deed is done.
When it comes to NPR there should be no discussion, no debate, no consideration of compromise. Just kill it with fire. No mercy.

I hope PDJT is fully aware of this, and I think he is as he mentioned defunding NPR first time around — but didn’t do it. Now he’s 100% fed up with media lies so we may see the end of that in the US Budget.
Even before the Department of Education, there was HEW (Health, Education, Welfare). I imagine that’s who administered the early Federal Student Loans, and things like the G.I. Bill and Title IX.
However, it was with the Department of Education that the Feds started pouring money in state-run pre-college education, and its ~10% comes with many strings attached. No state is able to resist the financial incentives. With the abolition of the Department, the 10% will have to be phased out with the concurrent abolition of unfunded mandates.
These videos aren’t new. They were made before the election.
