Donald Trump, the 45th president of the United States, will now also be the 47th president in the country's history.
Following his resounding win over Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election, attention now turns to Trump's second term in office, which will kick off with his inauguration.

Right. Banning those two clowns would be petty, and serve no purpose. This is the time to try to unite the country, as much as is possible.
So be gracious to Biden and Harris. There is no need to praise them for their accomplishments. Because they have no accomplishments. But be gracious.
Have McDonald’s employees serve them fries at the Inauguration.
Let ‘em sit there and stew in whatever knowledge they have of malfeasance.

Politics is SUPPOSED to be the art of pretending to get along with the people you despise. That allows room for negotiations between enemies. Just as it works with other countries, it works for other parties. You treat them well, ignoring all that you’ve said about them and that they’ve said about you. While each side knows perfectly well they despise the other.
But that gives you room in the future when you HAVE to stand side by side in whatever situation past presidents need to find themselves in.
Trump is marvelous at being superficially pleasant with people who’ve run against him once they give in. Coming to the inauguration is superficially congratulating Trump on winning. Hurts like hell to smile while doing so. Let them hurt but let them bend the knee for the occasion.
Was Trump banned from Biden’s inauguration in 2021? If so, then I’m all for it. If not, then I don’t think there’s anything to be gained from banning them.
Have them stand next to the Trump garbage truck.
Maybe Trump could just let them know that they need not attend if they don’t want to…it could get uncomfortable after all.

on January 20th Trump should take the oath and give a quick speech in the Oval Office then immediately go to work signing executive orders getting this country back from the abyss.. no need this time for an inauguration speech at the Capitol, parades and silly parties..
