I work in healthcare in the UK and I talk to healthcare professionals around the globe.
The talking point with those folks who are interested in the US election is, RFK Jr.
His opposition even to vaccines for things like polio is so off the charts, even people who supported Andrew Wakefield think RFK Jr is beyond whackjob.
Many a pharma business can sell a five cent pill to a non-USA healthcare org for fifty cents, before the org will complain about price gouging. And that’s good business. But, the same manufacturer can sting the American healthcare system for $50 a pill, no questions asked.
Which is even better business.
So the joke doing the rounds right now is, if RFKJr really is going to be put in charge of vaccine policies, forget buy-to-let investments; the hot money’s going to be in ventilators (even if the third world realises it can start selling redundant iron lungs back to the USA for a stupid mark-up.)
rfk is useful if kept in his lane
Trump seems to understand that
yahoo can kma
I wouldn’t put JFK Jr in charge of anything.
Trump should use him as an advisor and listen but not automatically carry out his advice.
I do not think so.
Dr. Carson is a remarkable physician. A wonderful speaker, a truly loving, kind, and generous person.
But that is not the kind of person we need in charge of straightening out the health care field. Or straightening out any government agency.
The only way that Dr. Carson could be effectively used to fix our government agencies is if he was allowed to perform lobotomies on most of the staff (the so-called Deep Staters).
The crowd was chanting “Bobby! Bobby!” at Trump’s victory speech.
Exactly. It’s much too early for RFK to expect anything.
Trump has not distanced himself. The time to be concerned about his baggage was before you brought him into the campaign, and said what he was going to be doing in your administration at half the rallies.
This is big pharma fighting the only guy who has their number.
Give him a role. He carried your water.
Same with Tulsi.
Blowing up the collation now serves no purpose. Having RFK Jr in a health compacity is a net good.
Nope. Carson is too mild mannered to aggressively fight a war with big pharma and he don’t hate the FDA enough. Carson would be good if it was fixed and needed an administrator.
far Left Yahoo pathetically trying to stir the chit.
Did you know that yahoo is hillbilly slang for *$$-hole ?
Example: “That yahoo government revenuer is sneakin’ round the barn lookin’ for stills and jugs of juice.”
“ I work in healthcare in the UK and I talk to healthcare professionals around the globe.
”
Nobody cares what Brits think. NHS and hospital wards are their idea of great care.
“correct. RFK is in good standing with DJT and I’m sure we’ll see a gutting of the pharma industrial complex (like the military industrial complex) ASAP”
Your hopes are one eighty from reality
Yahoo is a big lefty organization and Never-Trumpers! I wouldn’t believe anything their writers put out! You all have to realize that the left will spend the next 4 years doing nothing but bashing Trump, his agenda and stir up trouble between him and his people! That’s what they do and they’ll never change! Period!
piss off
“piss off”
RFKJR has said he would increase testing of vaccines
That would increase the FDA and big pharma

Agree....it’s an easy....come and go...appointment.
Agree. RFKjr isn’t stable.
