Russian President Vladimir Putin remains open to dialogue with US President-elect Donald Trump, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday.

Speaking at a Moscow press briefing, Peskov, however, said no specific arrangements had been made for a Putin-Trump conversation at this time.

“As we all heard, Mr. Trump indicated during the campaign that he would reach out to President Putin himself. So, the openness to dialogue persists, as highlighted yesterday by the Russian president,” he explained.

On Thursday, at the Valdai Discussion Club in Sochi, Putin congratulated Trump on his electoral victory, saying it would “not be shameful” for Russia to initiate a call.

He won’t be POTUS until sworn in but it’s a sign this war might end soon.

Putin knows Trump will save face for him and his failed war.
The life loss for this is unacceptable, everyone should support peace in this region.

I would think Pedo Joe would want to open negotiations now so he can take credit for ending this mess and it takes time to fly all of Z’s money, cars and the wife’s clothes to the taxpayer funded safe house high in the Alps...

Unfortunately, unless authorized by Biden, Trump must wait until his inauguration, lest he be charged with illegal foreign negotiations. And do not think that they would not try to do so.

Yeah that’s what I meant to convey. By soon I meant after he was sworn in.

Trump could end the wart in Ukraine before he is sworn in easily. Tell America that upon taking office you are going to conscript the best and the brightest of America’s youth in our highly Esteemed Universities across America, give them 2 weeks training and send them straight to the Front Lines in Ukraine to fight Their Daddy’s WAR.

Harvard,Tale,Princeton,Georgetown,Columbia,...ALL OF THEM.

“The life loss for this is unacceptable, everyone should support peace in this region.”

The one area where I’ve acquired a bit of wisdom, (I think), is my rejection of war. It’s a horrible thing that should be avoided at all reasonable cost. I’m not talking appeasement, but exhaust all other avenues before sending young people to their deaths.

Interesting. Remember the hostage crisis of the 70s/early 80? Some of you may not.

As soon as Reagan won the election, Iran freed the hostages which were languishing for a very long time under Carter. Coincidence?

I think when a lot of people “have a horse in the race,” they’d be less of a war hawk. Maybe a bit more pragmatic.

RE: Liz Chaney and Trumps remark that changed by the left and MSM to mean that Trump wanted to kill Chaney.

It could be very embarrassing for Democrats, Biden and Harris. A war that started under them, that cost billions and thousands of lives is ended by Trump. It didn't look like it might end any time soon.

A fresh start and peace because of Trump.

I've read elsewhere that Trump and Putin spoke already and Trump expressed a desire that the war be ended before he takes office.

I don't know if true, or if he can make it happen, but it makes perfect sense. He wants all of the Biden and deep-state sh** gone before he sits in his chair. He doesn't want any remnants stinking up his Presidency.

A silly ethnic squabble morphed into a civil war and when attempts to solve the dispute were torpedoed, lead to an invasion to support one side. Now we are stumbling toward as world war in which NATO faces BRICKS or at least the new Axis of China, Russia, Iran and North Korea. (If not others).

Of course. But does Biden want the war to continue? Or stop and stop ASAP?
