NASA today insisted stranded astronaut Sunita Williams is safe and healthy amid growing public concern for her health.
But the space agency again refused to give any details about four astronauts who were mysteriously hospitalized late last month after returning from a separate space mission...
A doctor raised concerns about Williams this week after a photo showed her looking 'gaunt', suggesting she had lost a significant amount of weight after spending more than 150 days stuck on the International Space Station....
Concern over Williams came less than two weeks after the hospitalization of four NASA/SpaceX Crew-8 astronauts, who splashed down off the coast of Florida on October 25.

If we are serious about further manned space exploration we need to improve radiation shielding. We also need to find a way to simulate gravity. There have been a few effective ways to do this, like spinning crew environments.

We should study space but I am not sure that humans are meant to be out there. That will be plenty of time to travel in space with God in the afterlife. I know that might sound a little backwards, but our bodies aren’t meant to be out there. I know that squash is a lot of dreams of going to Mars, but I think we’re gonna find that human beings don’t hold up as well as we thought we don’t know all.

When Great Britain was surpassed on the seas by the United States, that ended British power and made it essentially dependent on the US, losing some of their sovereignity. It didn’t just affect its naval power, it undercut their industrial strength and economic health, and their national spirit.
The Chinese, Russians, and other enemies would like nothing more than for us to curtail the space program and stop American space exploration. You can bet they have troll armies deployed to undercut US determination in this matter as well as on matters of freedom of the seas.

The effects of extended time in space have been well known for a very long time, decades in fact. These conditions, prevalant even with mitigating practices such as resistance exercises, don’t have a solution at hand nor do any seem practical. How then does anyone expect anyone to live in such conditions for an extended period of time in any location without benefit of radiation shielding or gravity such as earth’s?
Don’t sent humans up there. Only send robotic chimps.
