Kamala Harris Concedes With Bitter, Divisive Speech
PJ Media ^ | 6 Nov 2024 | Matt Margolis

After refusing to concede Tuesday evening, Kamala Harris showed up late to her own concession speech at Howard University Wednesday afternoon. I've never looked forward to hearing her speak — ever — but today I did. So I was more than a bit annoyed that she was nearly twenty minutes late.

Be that as it may, it was quite the show. Tim Walz looked like he was in tears, which certainly fit the bill.

Kamala Harris’s concession speech was a blend of the obligatory humble platitudes but included its fair share of pointed, bitter undertones, making it hard to discern if she was truly conceding or rallying for a future fight.

She opened with an awkward repetition of “Good afternoon” as she tried to settle herself for the moment (rather than the cheering crowd), setting a strangely tense tone from the start.

“So let me say my heart is full today,” she began. “My heart is full today, full of gratitude for the trust you have placed in me, full of love for our country, and full of resolve.”

“The outcome of this election is not what we wanted, not what we fought for, not what we voted for,” she continued, before striking a more defiant tone. “But hear me when I say, hear me when I say, the light of America's promise will always burn bright, as long as we never give up and as long as we keep fighting.”

No dignity in defeat. Unsurprisingly.

I didn’t watch. I wouldn’t watch. She treated her supporters disdainfully too. But I doubt any of them will even notice.

I wonder when she speaks about women’s rights that she missed the fact that American women don’t want to compete with men in sports.

I’ve heard high school valedictory speeches that were better than her concession speech.

This should pretty much be the last time anyone hears from Kamalala or A-Walz.

Unless MSLSD wants to hire that nasally harridan to host a propaganda slot on their roster.

I didn’t think it was divisive so much as it was meaningless. She said nothing just like every other time she speaks publically.

I listened to the whole thing. Most of it for pretty good for her. She read it well. Probably best speech I have heard her make FWIW and probably the only one I have ever listened to from start to finish as it wasn’t long.

For a short while she started shouting like it was some campaign speech or Wellstone Memorial. It was a speech written by committee and probably took all day for them to write it and satisfy various stakeholders.

Her message — there will be a graceful transition of power unlike Trump in 2020 and dems need to continue the fight etc etc blah blah woof woof

“Result not what we wanted..”—her speech
similar in some ways to Hillary’s

Reaction to all this on social media is
along the lines of:
—Resist!
—They cheated!
—There will not be a Jan 6 uprising
with her, unlike Trump
—She lost because most voters are stupid!
____
(John Cougar Melloncamp tune)—And the Walz..
come tumbling down, and the Walz keep
tumblin’, tumblin’...dowwwn!

There is no way she would have behaved like a civilized human being if she had won.

She would have pulled out the bunny boiler personality we all know is at her rotten core and directed it towards us.

Her speech sounded like it was lifted from the greeting card section at Walmart.

Man, did we dodge a bullet there.

I think we are all tired of this BS. If the rats and their media sycophants want to redo Trump’s first term, I hope he blows them to oblivion. The rats are evil and self-righteous.

“...rallying for a future fight.”

More PROOF, as if we need any more, that Socialists NEVER give up. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re already grooming some ‘unknown’ with a BLEACHED past (ala 0bama!) for their next go-round in 2028.

We MUST stay vigilant. Do NOT let the HAPPINESS of today blind us to the fact that there is a hellofalot of work to UNDO due to this BUFFOON!

Those on the radical Left (and the Democrats are eager to join that crowd) are like children. They accept no responsibility for their actions and they blame mature people the same way children think their parents are cruel because they understand the need for sensible/practical thinking.

Leftism is devolution. It caters to childish thinking like victimhood, the refusal to admit responsibility, and blaming others (adults) for the things that hurt.
