And the bicycle guy victim is an idiot. The two guys in the car were honking and cursing at him. I guess he was going too slow.

Bicycle guy responded by flipping them off. Car guys then try to run bicycle guy off the road. Bicycle guy spits on one of them.

I get why bicycle guy was upset. But think twice before you escalate. It’s not Eisenhower’s America anymore. And not everyone driving is as polite as Wally Cleaver was.

I commuted via bicycle (weather permitting in Idaho) for ten years, and had only two “hostile” encounters, both with mouthy idiots who were clueless about traffic laws. Neither of those escalated, but if they had, it could have ended badly for the motorists, as I always had my traveling companion with me.

Some of those militant bicyclists need an attitude adjustment. On the other hand, when I was younger and rode on the street, I did have a car pull out of a side street in front of me while I was coming down a hill at a nice speed. Had to brake hard to not go into the side of the car when it came across in front of me. Then the guy circled around and wanted to fight me. I wouldn’t ride on a street these days without a handgun on me.
