In a complex deal marked by boardroom drama, regulatory hurdles, and political intrigue, Vista Outdoor’s ammunition division, known as the Kinetic Group, is on the verge of being acquired by Czechoslovak Group (CSG), a Czech-based conglomerate. Set to conclude by late November, this $2.15 billion sale has been met with mixed reactions...
The implications of the sale go beyond simple economics. Kennedy notes that the deal was not only contentious but introduced potential shifts in the manufacturing landscape... For many, the sale represents a potential loss of American oversight over ammunition production at a critical time, ...
The sale of Vista’s ammunition division to CSG represents a complicated crossroads for U.S. civilian ammunition production. While proponents argue that CSG brings valuable expertise and resources, critics like Mark worry that foreign control could undermine both security and accessibility....
At its core, the sale of the Kinetic Group to CSG highlights an ongoing debate about foreign ownership of critical industries, particularly those tied to defense and public safety. The outcome of this sale could impact more than just shareholders’ wallets – it has the potential to reshape the American ammunition industry’s future....

Is the Czech in the mail?
I have a friend who works in the Remington Ammo plant (Lonoke, AR). He’s been dropping hints about this since long before any details became public. He said that he has serious concerns...
But we all should have MAJOR concerns - as if it isn’t already a MASSIVE issue that we have handed over manufacturing of most everything necessary to keep this nation going to foreign companies - either to be manufactured anywhere but the US, or for control to be from “over there” - WHY would regulators even THINK about allowing this sale? The remaining US-owned companies cannot fulfill ALL government needs, much less consumer demand.
Elon should start an ammo plant as well as a search engine.
It sounds like the sale of our COUNTRY under the biden-harris
administration.Going to czecs.a payment to them for what biden and co.got from them.
It spells disaster for us.
I’d like him to simply release a Google clone circa 2010. From back when it was actually a search engine and not a “decision engine”. If he can’t for some copyright reason, then I hope the Russians or Chinese do. And watch the customer base get sucked away.
It would be so good for America to see Google and Meta go down.
You’re right.
For a long time, the US has been set up for a hard fall.....The Perfect Storm.

Until a few days ago, I google-searched, “hitler speeches”.
EVERY return began with “Trump”!
If it’s CZ it’s okay.
Not good. It’s a lot easier and a lot less illegal for the US to tell a company what to do in a captive country (which the Czech Republic still is, at least until their next election), than to tell an American company what to do.
I see it as an opportunity for smaller US manufacturers to expand and note their US OWNED company in ads.
I still remember the movie THE GREEN BERETS in which Alo Ray infuriates reporters when he opens a can of ammo, dumps it on the desk and proclaims “Made by CZECH COMMUNISTS!
We sure we want to sell to the Czechs? Oh wait! It is still the Biden- Harris commie party bent on destroying the US so they can rule over the ashes of a once great REPUBLIC.
Just think what could happen if the CCP bought CSG.
Kinetic Group owns Remington and Federal. Most of their products are sold to American consumers. I seriously doubt they’d stop selling to us, especially since most of their manufacturing is done right here.
They also own several other very popular brands, again, most of which is sold to Americans.
