Sources identified the suspect as a Michigan student from China, authorized to study in the United States but not to vote, because he is not a citizen.
Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson and Washtenaw County Prosecutor Eli Savit confirmed the noncitizen voter was charged with unauthorized elector attempting to vote and perjury – making a false affidavit for the purpose of securing voter registration.
The student's name has not been released. Officials say he voted at an Ann Arbor early voting site Sunday.

His student visa should be revoked, and he should be deported...never to return.
Of Course it will count! Once a vote is dropped into the pool, there is no way to identify it.
That is why mail-in cheaters want the get the envelope separated from the ballot. Once the ballot is removed from the envelope, it counts!

OK, if he was caught after he had cast his ballot, how would anyone know which ballot was his? So, yes, I imagine his ballot will be counted. But he should spend some quality time in prison before be deported and banned for life from setting foot in the U.S.

I think he’s been arrested.
I think one problem that might prevent one from determining which ballot was the Chinese’s is people take different amount of times to vote. When that Chinese man obtained his ballot (or pin number), there must be a record of when he got it. So it’s easy to find out his place in terms of all ballots that day in that precinct. However he could take less time or more time than the other voters in the ballot box so when he typed the submit button, his place on the submit list maybe different than his place on the pin list.
I think we should seriously consider that sort of thing for illegal aliens who commit crimes beyond the illegal border crossing. Incarceration costs us a lot of money; flogging is cheap. Also memorable ...
