Putin Hopes West Heard His Warnings Against Deep Strikes Into Russia
Sputnik News ^ | 10/27/24

Earlier in September during Russian Security Council's permanent meeting, Vladimir Putin proposed to discuss updating the foundations of Russia's state policy in the field of nuclear deterrence.

Vladimir Putin expressed hope that Western governments heard his warnings against striking deep into Russia. “They did not report to me, but, I hope, they heard [my warning]," Putin said in an interview with Russian journalist Pavel Zarubin.

Ukraine cannot independently use long-range weapons; this can only be done by specialists from NATO countries, which is why the issue is not about granting permission to Kiev to use such weapons against Russia, stated Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“It’s not a matter of whether someone is allowed to use this weapon against Russia. I have already talked about this in my very first statement… Ukrainian forces cannot use this weapon independently,” Putin said.

The president emphasized that only NATO specialists can perform this task as it requires space intelligence, which Ukraine lacks, as well as experts who will use the data from this intelligence to issue flight missions and conduct "a whole range of other manipulations."

"The Ukrainian army cannot do this on its own … What's happening now is being done by NATO officers. The only question is whether they will allow themselves to carry out strikes deep into Russian territory or not. That is the question," Putin explained.

Deep strikes into Ukraine are okay, deep strikes into Russia are terrorism….
Yet they continue ur to talk of how NATO is next if NATO keeps this up.
I would be concerned if I were Putin, the limited resources that Ukraine has to strike deep are causing pain, more of the same will show Russias weakness even more

The Ukrainians could have got targeting information years ago.

Many Ukrainians served in UUSR forces throughout the USSR.

Putin could stop all of the strikes against Russia by stopping his war on Ukraine.

When it comes to missile technology this is true. How can Russia ignore NATO military firing and guiding missiles into Russia? The cannot and the will not and if the U.S. and NATO persist in their madness a lot of Europeans and Americans may die. America would rightly never put up with this and it’s insane to think that Russia would.

No, self restraint doesn’t work against deceitful Western interventionists...a lesson Putin should have learned by now.

I am just cheering for the end of the globohomo American Empire overseas so that we can be prosperous and happy at home. I want to reindustrialize America and grow the middle class lifting America s out of poverty and despair. I do not want to see my children fight in die in a war for the crooks in D.C. to get rich.

Pretty simple stuff really. GFY.

Please reference a Ukrainian attack on Russia before the latter's invasion.

“The Ukrainians could have got targeting information years ago.”

Sure they did. BUT, to launch a Tomahawk etc, the user will need to access encrypted and classified systems. We won’t allow Ukraine access to our classified targeting and communications systems. It’s not like Ukes can program in any target they want. It’s not like giving them a bazooka.

Putin is correct. If a Tomahawk or some such hits deep in Russia, that is a NATO attack.
The further proof is that we would rule the same way if a Russian hypersonic was given to Venezuela and they torched one into DC. We would correctly judge that as a Russian attack on America.

“The West” isn’t striking deep into Russia. The victim of their murderous aggression, Ukraine, is doing so.

Hinting about joining NATO was interpreted as an attack on Russia (or more likely, used as an excuse to invade). But they had to know we wouldn't have let Ukraine in anyway.

It it is okay to fire long range Russian, NK, and Iranian missiles into Ukraine?
Another way to put it, Russia is using foreign made missiles and drones as well as artillery ammunition into Ukraine, but it is crossing a red line of Ukraine were to use western ammunition to their fullest extent?

Much like dims calling republicans Nazis and fascist and then telling republicans they must tone down the inflammatory rhetoric.

Goose gander….

I do not want to see my children fight in die in a war

And yet you, supposedly so concerned, never actually criticizes the one guy who started a war which could involve "your kids" - Putin

Not sorry, not buying it ... your actions don't match your words

If you look at the statements of NATO before the invasion you will see that they were more along the lines of: Ukraine is a free country and they have the right to ask to join NATO but for the moment we are saying “no,” but its not because the Russians are objecting. Contrary to the Russian apologists, Ukraine was not about to join NATO. By NATO’s own charter they could not since there was a border dispute with Russia; and Putin knew this. This war has nothing to do with a threat of NATO expansion. Rather, it is about Putin’s desire for Russian expansion.

The 2014 CIA coup started the war and split the Ukraine. The eastern provinces broke away from CIA criminals in Kiev and were never part of your CIA utopia. Another reason I don’t back the Ukraine is that Zelensky and his asset Vindman help initiate the coup against President Trump with the fist impeachment. I will never buy into your rabid, stupid propaganda you vapid maple syrup sucking moron.
