The good news: Lots of Philadelphians have voted early, which is key to our plan to save the state, the country and democracy itself. (Again.)
According to the Philadelphia City Commissioners, many of us have sent in mail-in and absentee ballots with “various issues that may prevent them from being counted.” These issues include ballots sent in with no secrecy envelope, no signature, no date, etc.

This allows them to selectively reject certain ballots
Not an issue for people that vote in person.
It appears to be about 3000 ballots with many returned by USPS as undeliverable.
It’s Philly. 3000 is nothing.
Sorry there is no remedy for your ( not you personally) screwed up mail in ballot. You either follow directions or you don’t get counted. and this is in the legislation which in itself is unconstitutional. Now this will allow the courts to once again write some laws.

I don’t believe this crap.

As legal adults, voters are responsible for their own mistakes. If you botched your ballot, you’ll just have to wait for the next election.
I think it’s a good thing to allow people to cure minor issues, so long as they have to show up in person with an ID to do it.
I personally don’t trust the USPS for anything important. In person voting is the best way (with a grain of salt) to see that your vote is counted.
