With only three days to go to vote early in Nevada, Republican turnout continues to crush Democrats.
As of Tuesday, the GOP enjoys an unprecedented (in the state’s early vote history) lead of 42,796 votes. Earlier this week, when Breitbart News reported on these numbers, Republicans led by only 26,000 votes and everyone assumed that was the peak.
Nope.
So far, 309,905 Republicans have voted early, compared to just 264,109 Democrats. Another 203,012 Independents have also voted early. This gives the GOP a 5.5-point lead.

It’s not early voting or Election Day voting that I worry about, it’s the POST-ELECTION “voting” that is the problem.
Blue skies
Comin at me
Nothin but blue skies
Do I see
HOLD THE LINE!!
We are talking a monumental landslide in Nevada— perhaps more than +10 for President Trump.
Turnout is really the key. I think the Democrats are not highly motivated, and will not come close to matching their high 2020 numbers. On the other hand, Trump is doing a great job at getting people out to vote.
Hold the blue skies....snow on the peaks around Carson City Nevada today....but sunrise a nice red.
I’m among that number.
Here is the way to vote in Nevada.
The D’s mandated that everyone gets a paper ballot in the mail.
They want us to mail it, DON’T!
Instead take it directly to the county clerks office.
No mail fraud exposure, no having to trust a machine to not be rigged.
There is a concern that on election day we may have bad weather which could limit in-person voting, so the push has been on for early voting.
As a new resident in Nevada
I need
1. Government issued ID..(passport...certificate of citizenship...etc)
2. original social security card
3. Proof of residence..(utility bill...house title...etc)
Appears to be happening in other states (NJ).
I hope you’re right.
Of course I want to win Nevada and especially the Senate seat.
But Nevada probably won’t play in whether Trump gets to 270.
Trump is likely to win AZ, GA, and NC. Add Nevada to that and he’s at 268.
Trump has to win one of the three rust belt states to get over 270.
OTOH, Harris almost certainly has to run the table in the rust belt states.
The little democrats who post on message boards have a couple of answer for this.
1)Early Republican voters have a huge amount of anti Trump Republicans that can’t wait to vote for Harris.(absolutely laughable)
2)More Republicans are voting early which means we’ll have a lower turnout on election day. A day that historically favors Republicans.
What’s actually happening is Harris has worse margins in early voting than Biden did in 2020 & will be overwhelmed on November 5th.
God I hope so. Hopefully it rubs off on Arizona.
#2 is the cannibalization issue.
I refuted that with this thread:

Arizona Republicans are killing it even more than Nevada:

I already read it.
You’re doing a great job covering the 2024 election BTW.(I’m a data/info junkie)
Thanks
The big picture is that you guys are doing a fantastic job—the best Republican early vote of any of the swing states by far.
Given all the election day issues we saw in 2020 in Arizona that is very wise—and imho will pay big dividends this year.
If Lake makes it to the US Senate it will be these additional early votes that got her there.
Once there she will be a force to reckon with—a big win for the entire country.
Elon Musk put out a tweet 15 minutes ago- i believe it says Republicans are 500,000 votes improved at this point in the process compared to four years ago.
You’re the numbers guy- so i’ll defer to you
