49ers' Nick Bosa Interrupts Post-Game Interview to Show Support for Trump
SFGate ^ | Oct 27, 2024 | Alex Simon

Nick Bosa took time after the final San Francisco 49ers game before the 2024 presidential election to flash a “Make America Great Again” hat on NBC’s postgame show, interrupting his teammates' interview to do so.

Bosa was not one of the three players being interviewed by NBC sideline reporter Melissa Stark after the 49ers’ 30-24 win over the Cowboys. But right as Stark was beginning her questions, Bosa walked up behind quarterback Brock Purdy, running back Isaac Guerendo and tight end George Kittle while adjusting a hat on his head.

Stark was in the middle of asking her first question to Purdy when Bosa appeared, standing between Stark and Purdy and pointing at his hat, which was white with the “Make America Great Again” lettering in gold. Bosa’s stunt earned awkward smiles from his three teammates, including a few chuckles from Kittle as Stark said, “Nick Bosa with a message there.”

Bosa quickly jumped off screen, and Stark returned to her question for Purdy. NBC cut out Bosa’s interruption from their social media video of the interview. In a postgame press conference that was mostly questions about football, Bosa did get asked about why he chose to put the hat on.

When Nick Bosa was drafted in 2019, he had some pro-Trump tweets and stuff, and the NFL told him to knock it off.

How long will be be suspended for this?

People who never mentioned a serial Sexual Assaulter, Domestic Violence, DUI Homicide, have told us Bosa and Harrison Butker are the most evil people in the NFL.

Bosa took a picture with Trump at a UFC match this year, but Joe

Bosa's father grandfather, uncle, brother, and two other close relatives are in the NFL. Hois great grandfather was head of the Chicago Mafia, given the name "Joe Batters" by Al Capone himself.

To hell with them (not Bosa and Butler).

Great pedigree!

Wouldn’t mess around with him if you value your knees. Capisce! 😉

That’s quite a lineage! Father, Grandpa, Uncles and other, all were good enough to play professionally.
That would make some kind of Reality Show.
“How to raise a Warrior”.
Some families are like that for the military, going way back to the Civil War.

Fascinating info about Tony Accardo, Bosa's great-grandfather. Another great-grandson, Jake Kumerow, played on the Buffalo Bills as a wide receiver.

From wikipedia: Despite an arrest record dating back to 1922, Accardo spent at most only one night in jail.

sounds very smart as well.

If he kneeled during the anthem they'd celebrate him.

I don't believe he'll be suspended at all. The 49ers pioneered having players making political statements in 49ers uniform and on the 49ers field when Colin Kaepernick was here. They can't have double standards without pissing off a lot of their fan-base - as a former season ticket holder at Candlestick and Levis, I know many of them are not liberals.

Santa Clara is not San Francisco. The players have always lived down in the South Bay and now they play there too. The only time most of them make it up to SF is for marketing events.
