Challenges...Spontaneous Combustion could be construed as a challenge...especially if your house burns down.
Jennifer the mole Grandtheft is still around. I thought things couldn’t get worse in Michigan. I was wrong. Meet Gretchen Whitmer.
Sure thing, toots.
Trump should eliminate the subsidies and see what happens. If they can’t survive on their own they shouldn’t be around.
First order of business-it will drive the left bat-guano crazy.
Because they suck!
Like with all things that can be political these days, we are not to believe what our eyes show us.
You need both + and -.
👍
Moron.
Dang pessimists ruin everything.
Why won’t people just be positive? Then EVs would be fine. Everything would be, actually!
> Granholm blamed the “hiccup” in electric vehicle demand on “a lot of talking down of electric vehicles,” … <
Ah, yes. It’s those ignorant hillbillies again, always ruining a good thing.
But don’t lose hope, greenies! As Granholm noted, once Harris takes office, there will be “more positivity” around EVs. Maybe Harris will follow California’s lead, and work to make “disinformation” a crime.
“Talking down” = dispensing truth
90%+ of people think a new vehicle purchase is a important decision, and they don’t walk into it willy nilly.
People make it a point to learn about the different vehicles they take an interest in. They talk to current owners and listen to opinions.
Just because you want to shackle the peons with “electrification” doesn’t mean they are going to go along with it.
Saying it’s good doesn’t make it good... and YET AGAIN democrats project their own evils onto their problems. It is the democrats who want to propagandize EVs. The truth is in their way
Imagine an Energy Secretary that focused on authorizing and allowing the pumping of oil.
No EV talking down is necessary, EV’s are natural born losers on so many fronts. Worse yet, in my state they are confiscating right of ways to construct huge power transmission lines to beef up the electric grid. No one wants these big magnetic field generators in their neighborhoods. Now they have two electric ‘hogs’ competing for millions of kilowatts - electric cars and AI. They don’t have a clue how expensive it is to convert one energy source to another. Electricity is not a naturally occurring energy, it has to be produced. The elite believe electricity occurs automatically at the end of an electrical socket.
Yes, there’s talking down of EVs because there’s a story about more problems caused by them every time you read the news. Perhaps that is an exaggeration, but perhaps not. If you add up the potential costs & problems with them, it’s hard to come up with anything but one conclusion....people should be free to buy them, but generally speaking, they are unaffordable for many & not worth the trouble to most.
The left views their EVS the same way they view their candidates. Not enough favorable press, nothing fundamentally wrong with them.
Why should there be a subsidy on EVs? Because they are too expensive, but so is my satellite TV. I don’t get a subsidy.
Jenny - you ignorant slut-—
What you speak of are called “facts” given in what is called an “exchange of information”
You might not recognize this since the “information” is presented not in your regime approved, sanitized for your perusal, safe from misinformation propaganda which is spewed out by the regime and propagandists like the unscrubbed smokestack plume of a mega sized Chinese coal fired plant.
BTW Jenny how is your portfolio doing these days? Any good tips from Nancy??
This is the same woman who had invested in an electric bus company called Proterra. From what I understand she sold off all her stock before Proterra went bankrupt. Andrew Willow brought this up on his show on a semi regular basis over the past couple of years.
