During an interview with Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” on Monday, 2024 Democratic vice presidential candidate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) responded to some unions not endorsing the Harris-Walz ticket by stating that “They have tough politics inside those. These are folks that are directly responsible to their members,” and “Some of those leaders did not show the courage they needed to. The vast majority of union leaders showed the courage, they’re backing us.”
Host Jon Stewart asked, “Why have the unions, though, been more reluctant, in this cycle to –.”

Afraid of members? That’s who they’re supposed to serve Tim... Their members. And if their members like Trump, why would they support his opponent?
So the union leaders are scared to go against their members? Good. Knucklehead pedo.
Liberal logic at work.
It’s likely that some unions aren’t backing Commie-La and ChiComTimpon because they don’t want to give aid and comfort to the domestic and foreign enemies of the United States.
Allows how much he loves democracy. If the union leaders act on the democratic outcome of their internal election, they are cowards!
Thank you! You said exactly what I was thinking. This guy is a mental midget.
I can see what makes him think that way.......
There...fixed.
One major problem with unions is they base everything on the average worker. A highly productive worker sees the worker next to him doing less work for the same pay. The productive worker is not happy. The only place where unions can pay a fair wage to all is in a piece-rate system.
Leftists say the same about Republican lawmakers whenever they prevent unconstitutional laws such as an “assault weapons ban” from advancing.
His own family feels he is bad for the country. That stand takes integrity and courage.
As an aside, cutting deals with the management of the unions in opposition to the members is what fascism is all about.
Doe this moron not know that the membership elects their leadership?
Just because the leadership tells their members who to vote for, or publicly endorses a candidate, does not obligate those members to vote that same way.
Putz!
Keep talking knucklehead
Walz is like a big fish who has some idea that he’s all wet.
Walz gave the typical communist response.
Ignore the wants of the peasants, the little people (the union membership in this case). Instead, mindlessly support the ruling elite.
Leftists always assail big swaths of society as part of their campaign strategy. That’s what Obama did a few days ago — “You black bruthas are stupid if you don’t vote for Harris.”
I honestly don’t recall President Trump doing that. He uplifts everybody and wants everybody to do well and prosper in a free America.
one could use this line for the election itself.....voters didn’t vote for us because they lacked courage to vote for the knucklehead ticket.
Walz managed to insult the union leaders and the union members in one short sentence. Good work!
