It is an acronym for Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa. That is enough to get you started on your own investigation.
Brics is the alternative to the Swift Sanction Regime USD based trade system. Brics nations may not participate in sanctions. They do not have to use the USD and in fact they will use their own currencies, barter and BTC. Nations in Brics are more likely to trade as end users than say the exploited by the west profit model; not that profit isn’t the motive, but the fairness proposed between the Brics nations make it more attractive to less affluent countries who hope to recieve higher prices for their own goods or lower prices from other members.
