The Trump campaign reportedly has requested military aircraft and other increased security measures for former President Donald Trump in the final weeks leading up to the Nov. 5 election.
The New York Times reported Friday that the requests came after Trump campaign advisers received briefings in which the government said Iran is still actively plotting to kill the former president.
Trump advisers have grown concerned about drones and missiles, the outlet added.
Newsmax reached out to the Trump campaign for comment.
The Washington Post reported that the Trump campaign also has requested expanded flight restrictions over Trump's residences and rallies, ballistic glass pre-positioned in seven battleground states for the campaign's use, and military vehicles to transport the former president, who has been the victim of two assassination attempts in the past four months.
The Post reported that campaign manager Susie Wiles emailed Secret Service acting Director Ronald L. Rowe Jr. to express displeasure with the agency, saying it has been unable to provide enough security to protect Trump.
Wiles reportedly said the campaign recently had to cancel a public event at the last minute because of a "lack of personnel" from the Secret Service. Instead, Trump was put in a small room with reporters.

With the scattered polls and stories such as “Democrats starting to fear Trump rise in their internal polling” I said yesterday Trump has to get more security.

If the American government is working with the Iranian government to kill an American that the American government is protecting and knows every movement and public appearance then that guy wouldn’t stand a chance.
Do the government people standing around Trump and flying, driving and walking and staying with him know all this or just you?
