“What makes it possible for a totalitarian or any other dictatorship to rule is that people are not informed; how can you have an opinion if you are not informed? If everybody always lies to you, the consequence is not that you believe the lies, but rather that nobody believes anything any longer…”—Hannah Arendt

Simple Mis or disinformation is information they don’t like. This trend is evil. Pretty soon they’ll tell you it’s dangerous to get information from anywhere but .gov. and the perpetrators need to be punished.
They would, and have tried to, make it illegal to spread “misinformation”. COVID, for example. They’ve claimed it is like shouting “FIRE” in a crowded theater to say anything about it that is against the government narrative.
Ignorance on display. Turley explained that Brandenburg vs Ohio fixed that.
Brandenburg v. Ohio in 1969, which limited the scope of banned speech to that directed to and likely to incite imminent lawless action (e.g. an immediate riot).
Of course the left only uses part of the US Constitution
Ding! Ding! Ding!
Thank you, Veracious Poet!
The first thing people need to understand is the degree to which they are living under a dictatorship, run by the intelligence community. The misinformation and censorship is an outgrowth of that. I am trying to show people the surveillance, based on the East German Stasi, which is watching every neighborhood, using the website in my tag, but for every time I point it out, there are like five hundred other articles acting like the problem is just the Democrat party, or just the government system pushing things off kilter.
No, you have an intelligence operation in full dictatorship control, telling all these “elected” actors it installed in office in rigged elections to pretend fight to keep us distracted, while the intel operation just does whatever it wants. You could inform everybody about an issue - it will not matter. The people deciding it, the “elected” officials, which are agents of the conspiracy, and just going to do what they want.
In reality, until we get rid of domestic surveillance, as the first step in stripping the control away from the people running the IC, we stand no chance of even getting back to electing our leaders. Everybody should be pointing the domestic surveillance in their communities out to everyone else.
Everybody here should run for office at some point. You would be gobsmacked at the machinery which will come out of the woodwork all around you.
