It was a routine day in August for Shelley Gentner, but when she checked her mail and read a letter from the Brunswick County Board of Elections asking her to verify her information, she knew something was wrong.
“What was attached to [the letter] was a voter registration application form,” Gentner explained.
That form Gentner described was a copy, one someone had sent to the Brunswick County Board of Elections office impersonating her.
“It had my birthday which was not correct. It had the last four digits of my social which was not correct,” she said.
The form did have her correct address and phone number, but she knew something was up when she saw her forged signature.
“I thought, okay, somebody has signed my name. It’s not my signature. It’s not me,” Gentner said.
Gentner called the county elections office, saying the person who sent the form was not her.
That’s when she realized she was not the only one.
Director of Brunswick County Board of Elections Sara LaVere said Gentner was right.
“We’ve had 18 voters reach out and say they did not complete that form,” LaVere said.
Gentner has been a registered unaffiliated voter in the county since 2020.
The Brunswick County elections team immediately flagged the form when they realized the information listed did not match Gentner’s record.

“I’m a little short.”
“We’ve had 18 voters reach out and say they did not complete that form,”
And probably another 1,000 voters didn’t receive the form because they moved and the perp will vote in their name. That’s how the Dems win elections.

The Constitution says “election day” not election 3 months.
I have a friend in Massachusetts that’s received 5 ballots via mail already. In my mind, there’s absolutely no reason to vote. The fix is in and the Cackler is Madam President. Makes me sick.

And the voting verification staff will allow the ballots so as not to be called “voter suppression” types. No time or staff available to check on all the names and addresses.
Later, too late to matter if vote margin was high for the winner, so will not go through all the faulty or deliberately illegal voter names and addresses. Too late. Local news always says “won’t affect the outcome.”
