TUI celebrates Black History Month with two all-black crewed flights (British airline)

As part of its Black History Month celebrations, TUI operated two flights crewed entirely by black and mixed heritage colleagues from Manchester to Boa Vista and London Gatwick to Jamaica today.

Guests were entertained by traditional steel bands as they checked in to the historic flights which aimed to showcase the contribution of the black and mixed heritage communities in the travel industry.  And to specifically highlight TUI’s Caribbean and African employee Network’s (TUI CAN) mantra “you can’t be what you can’t see”.

TUI’s Wellbeing and Inclusion Lead and co-founder of TUI CAN Miranda Simms said: “We are committed to making sure that every person—whether they’re flying with us or working with us—feels represented and included.  These flights are a powerful statement to show people outside the company that there are individuals here who look like them, who have shared their experiences, and who are excelling in their careers. It’s important for us to show this, because representation matters, and it inspires the next generation to see themselves in these roles and know it’s possible. It’s one of the reasons we flipped the narrative of how we celebrate Black History Month.  We wanted it to be a positive celebration about how we create our own history every day, so we came up with the concept of ‘Making Black History at TUI”.

Second Officer Louis Farrell, who always dreamed of becoming a pilot, explains what crewing the Manchester to Boa Vista flight meant to him.  “For me, this flight isn’t just about breaking barriers—it’s about showing the next generation that their dreams are within reach. I started out in the military but was wounded in action cutting my career short. I was connected with TUI through the Charity Wings for Warriors, who introduce injured ex-service personnel to airlines

There are now 1.525B black Africans in Africa.

That means that 1% of their population is 15.25M people.

That's about the number of people who could be expected to have at least an IQ greater then 100. So likely trainable to be airline pilots, although an ATP takes a bit more then that IQ level. Doesn't matter: there's only about 105,000 airline pilots in the US, the biggest market on Earth.

So it would be reasonable to expect that out of the 15.25M black Africans that we could find and train about 100,000 pilots. It's a small fraction of the number available.

They would be basically just adequate, having started as Ab Initio pilots. Would get better with time, would undoubtedly be incidents along the way. But what's a body count when you have to make sacrifices for Diversity, right?

So with this in mind you can see that if the government wanted to, they could mandate that no White male ever be employed as a pilot again. Once you decide that all people on Earth are "Americans" and have a right to enter here and of course, get preferences for employment, then...no Whites would ever be needed again. Or allowed to have such a job. Ever.

Once you go down the road of discriminating against White people for "equity" sake, the road doesn't end. Except with complete White dispossession. They may vote to try to end it, but the courts and the bureaucracy will simply overrule those votes as they have done now for the last 80 years.

Think about that, and the implications of it, for a few minutes.

You may need a drink at the end of those few minutes.

TUI’s Caribbean and African employee Network’s mantra “you can’t be what you can’t see.”

So Kammunist Harris is writing jingles and mantras now, too? What a talented wench. She's got my vote.

It’s organized by a tour operator because they think it will sell. And maybe they are right.

Imagine if they did a White History month where all the crew had to be White.

It would be 24/7 news for 100-200 years.

I always wondered how Matthew 24:7 and Luke 21:10 were going to be fulfilled. It seemed hard to believe.

Now, I can see that it’s inevitable.
