If she said she was once the border czar, and had a humanistic border policy, then said she was never the border czar and the policy never changed because her “values” didn’t, then she will quickly get mixed up if questioned.

Go too far and the woke types will say what’s the matter with illegals coming in?

Go not far enough and suburban and small city families will say “We’re afraid to go out. Do something about those gangs of ex-cons roaming around.”
