About 150 students and supporters protested on the one-year anniversary of the start of Israel's war in Gaza Monday on the campus of UC Santa Cruz, criticizing the university's previous crackdowns on student protest.

A representative of the UC Santa Cruz chapter of Jews Against White Supremacy (JAWS) equated Israel’s treatment of Palestinians to that of the Nazis’ treatment of Jews in World War II, and said that Israel has shown that it “holds Palestinian life and livelihood in absolute contempt.”

Yeah, a ragtag group of 50 or so lefties did the same yesterday in the Californicated People’s Republic of Denver. The mayor and city council are so et up with Wokeness that they ordered the cops to stand down. Didn’t amount to much. They flopped their way to the Auraria campus (where the campus police don’t out up with BS) and things fizzled out.

Speaking of UC-Santa Cruz, it is beyond imaginable just how worthless a school of higher eduction can be. A celebration of its graduates reminds me of the situation when Dizzy Dean was beaned and the next day’s headline was “X-Rays of Dean’s Head Show Nothing.”
