The British rock band Pink Floyd’s entire catalog of hits has reportedly suffered a stunning devaluation of $100 million, thanks in large part to frontman Roger Waters’ outbursts against Israel, including his outrageous claim that the October 7 Hamas terror attacks were justified.
Pink Floyd has agreed to sell its recorded-music and name-and-likeness rights to Sony Music for approximately $400 million, sources confirmed to Variety on Thursday. But that valuation represents a drop of $100 million from the band’s asking price of $500 million.

You could only say his remark cost them $100M if they had agreed upon 500, terminated discussions because of a no disparagement term in the contract, and then renegotiated 400.

I truly believe that Pink Floyd is in the top 3 bands of all time. That being said, Roger Waters may be the most monumental douchebag of all time.
Gilmour, while certain a leftist himself, is the complete opposite of Roger. He was the one who made sure that Syd Barrett was taken care of. And after the shameful way Roger treated Rick Wright when he kicked him out during The Wall, David brought him back into the band, and even on his solo tours.
Leftards are hypocrites. Oct 7th terrorists committed diabolical atrocities against innocent lives and idiots like him are ok with it ‘for the cause’ as long as they are not personally involved nor effected.
I always heard growing up that “The Dark Side of the Moon” was one of the highest-selling albums of all time. The only song I could think of that was popular was Money. Same for The Grateful Dead. Never heard of any of their music but A Touch of Gray.
If you used Top 40 hits as a gauge, Led Zeppelin would be a flop, because AFAIK they never had a Top 40 song.

I used to the listen to the Dallas rock stations as an yute and I never heard a song from Pink Floyd until The Wall came out. Same for the Dead. Led Zeppelin was a staple.
