Belgian Prime Minister Censures Pope Francis Over Abortion Remarks

ROME — Belgium’s Prime Minister has protested remarks by Pope Francis condemning abortion as murder, insisting they constitute interference in the country’s internal affairs.

During his recent visit to Belgium, the pontiff praised the late King Baudouin for his courage in choosing to temporarily “leave his position as king to avoid signing a murderous law,” which legalized abortion in 1990.

I do not fully approve of Francis... this seems out of character... perhaps St Michael the Archangel visited him with a Word from the Judge of heaven and earth. Catholics are taught to know about confession, repentance and public manifestations of humility over sins... in fact EVERY group of Christ followers throughout the ages have been taught the kingdom entry requirements of repentance and faith towards God with public confessions. kudos Francis... watch your back, the molech terrorists will not like this.

I stand second to none in my criticism of Bergoglio as an apostate and Marxist who has presided over a disastrous papacy these past 11.5 years, BUT I will give the man credit for not shying away from speaking the truth about the homicidal nature of abortion. His plain speaking on this issue is often undermined by his warm embrace of many a pro-abortion politician if their leftist views otherwise align with his. Nonetheless, his anti-abortion rhetoric is at least something. Personally, I take it as a sign that Bergoglio, despite his myriad shortcomings, is at least not the anti-Christ.
