Biden says Israel should consider alternatives to hitting Iran’s oil fields

US President Joe Biden on Friday said Israel has not yet decided how it’s going to respond to Iran’s ballistic missile assault, but suggested it should refrain from attacking Iranian oil facilities.

“If I were in their shoes, I’d be thinking about other alternatives than striking oil fields,” Biden said during a rare appearance at the White House daily press briefing.

Earlier this week, Biden said he opposed Israel targeting Iranian nuclear sites as well.

Asked Friday whether he thought Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was rejecting diplomatic agreements in Gaza and Lebanon to influence the upcoming presidential election, Biden responded, “No administration has helped Israel more than I have. None, none, none, and I think Bibi should remember that.

“As for whether he’s trying to influence the election, or…I don’t know, but I’m not counting on that,” Biden added.

Chortle.

Relieving the sanctions that Trump placed on Iran which made them over $100 billion richer and allowed them to spend huge sums on their terrorist proxies and nuclear program doesn’t exactly qualify as helpful. At least not to Israel.

Idea. Have saffron robed young people with shaved heads go out to give one free flower and a pamphlet on peace to each terrorist.

Iranians?

They broke international agreements and invaded the US embassy, grabbing unarmed noncombatant staff members, blindfolded them, beat some, threatened women with rape and held them against their will for 444 days.

444 days.

The Iranians defiantly walked in front of news cameras carrying wet garbage in American flags to the trash.

I'm guessing Israel has .

I think they just have chosen to not tell diarrhea mouth biden so he doesn't blab it to the whole world. And especially Iran.

Has Biden ever given any “advice” to Iran or Hamas? He seems to always be giving advice to Israel.

Pretty logical what is going on here:

>Israel hits Iran oil fields
>Price of gas doubles
>Even with cheating the democrats cannot win the election with so many pissed off voters angry at the gas prices

You are absolutely right Brandon, leave the oilfields alone and just strike the refineries, storage tanks and export terminals.

Iran depends on imports for gasoline. Eliminate facilities to import the product and the storage facilities. Then the country can use camels.

Biden is right, what do you think if instead of attacking the oil infrastructure, they attack the Iranian nuclear plant...

Hit Their Nuke sites, all of them. Don't waste rounds on oil sites or ports or their fleabag navy. Take out as much of their stored material., production equipment, R&D facilities - all of it - and make sure that it's a working day to kill as many nuclear designers, program managers, lead scientists and every scrap of fissile material

Hit 'em with deep ground penetrators, so radioactive crap stays deep in their tunnels and few people at ground level will be in danger., contaminating their workspaces and sealing their critical folks in their tombs.

It's that or the Barry Obama Plan where they get to test their new toys on us.

Get 'em now!

US President Joe Biden on Friday said Israel has not yet decided how it’s going to respond to Iran’s ballistic missile assault, but suggested it should refrain from attacking Iranian oil facilities.

Translation = "I sold off most of our Strategic Oil Reserves to drive down prices for the mid term elections and if Israel takes out Kharg Island (80% of Iran's Oil is via Kharg Island) prices will spike and the Democrat Party will lose their ass in the next election."

Suggestion to Bibi on list of targets and priority is as follows:
1. Iranian Revolutionary Guard Command and Control and simultaneously political leaders.
2. Iran's nuclear program if possible, it is dug in deep. All power stations supplying electricity to the nuclear program centrifuges.
3. Kharg Island, it will be a hell of a fire! It will take years to repair it. An alternative is take out the pumping stations on the pipelines to Kharg Island. That shuts down oil exports also. You do not go down to Harbor Freight to get a new pump. We make most of them in the USA, Canada, and Europe. If they try to repair them just take them out again, it is not difficult.

One thing that puzzles me is why Iran does not have a nuclear bomb. They have damn good engineers and physicists, we trained them going back to the days of the Shah. They have the fissile material. They have cooperated with North Korea's Nuclear program and without doubt have the designs for a workable fissile or thermonuclear weapon. Occam's Razor's logic is they do have a workable and deliverable nuclear weapon.

Dependent on the sophistication of North Korea's designs it could be a rather small package like our Type Nuclear weapon the W88 which the Chinese stole the design. If North Korea has this engineering info so does Iran.

Specifications Mass 175-360 kg[1][2] Length Approximately 60 inches (150 cm)[3] Diameter 18 inches (46 cm)[3] Blast yield 475 kilotons of TNT (1,990 TJ) That is about 25 times the yield of the bomb that we dropped on Hiroshima. You could smuggle such a sophisticated miniaturized weapon into the United States with ease. Even a small Cessna 172 could do this or one of many experimental aircraft made of carbon fiber and a very low radar profile. Our open border is of equal ease.

One of our W88 would effectively destroy any major city in the USA. Our MIRVed missiles have several warheads, as multiple warheads dispersed over a wider radius is more effective than just one weapon that has the same power as the multiple weapons.
