VALDOSTA, Ga. (AP) — Donald Trump repeatedly spread falsehoods Monday about the federal response to Hurricane Helene despite claiming not to be politicizing the disaster as he toured hard-hit areas in south Georgia.
The former president and Republican nominee claimed upon landing in Valdosta that President Joe Biden was “sleeping” and not responding to Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp, who he said was “calling the president and hasn’t been able to get him.” He repeated the claim at an event with reporters after being told Kemp said he had spoken to Biden.

If Kemp tried to contact Biden but couldn’t, then later Biden contacted him, then the claim “Kemp couldn’t contact Biden” would be true.
The MSM’s current, so-called “journalists” believe themselves so important as to have become personally involved in the day’s news and that they have the right and duty to be argumentative with actual newsmakers that exercise responsible positions.
Self-aggrandizing, would-be media personalities like Candy Crowley, Linsey Davis and David Muir apparently feel empowered to use the power of the hosts’ microphone to jump between the debate principals to burnish their own brands and put their fat thumbs on the scale of justice, entirely as they personally see fit.

The AP made a false claim that Trump colluded with Russia to win the election.
Almost everything the AP claims about Trump is false or distorted. They are no different than Soviet-era Pravda. No different at all.

ABC News Radio did the same thing yesterday. Trump said Kemp unable to get ahold of Biden on phone but then ABC added that they spoke on phone. My question was when? Maybe Kemp was unable to get ahold of Biden early on so that Trump was correct.
