The National Transportation Safety Board is issuing “urgent safety recommendations” for some Boeing 737s—including the embattled 737 MAX line— warning that critical flight controls could jam.
The independent investigative agency is issuing the warning that an actuator attached to the rudder on some 737 NG and 737 MAX airplanes could fail. The move comes after the NTSB investigated a February incident where the pilots of a United Airlines MAX 8 landing in Newark reported their rudder pedals “stuck” in the neutral position.
The warning is the latest black eye for Boeing. The company has seen a string of ugly headlines this year, from a mid-air blowout of a door plug in January to a strike by 33,000 workers that started just this month.

Boeing is f@c&3d at this point. Can’t fly a plane and can’t fly a spacecraft. If I had any of their stock I would sell it before they go bankrupt.
Max 8 is still on my personal ‘no fly’ list.
Plus the workers on strike are the ones that built all the crappy products so maybe they should fire them all and start over.
DEI can’t keep airplanes in the air.
The need to split the military and the commercial sides into separate companies. Feds will never let the military side die. Although they’ll probably do a Lockheed and prop up the whole thing at taxpayer expense.
They do need to fire everyone with an MBA.
Yep, that's it in a nutshell.
This is not exactly a new problem
It’s been a known issue with the 737 fleet for decades
I think the real story here is the loss of institutional knowledge in our aviation maintenance
We are going through a generational change in our AP workforce and it seems things are getting lost in the transition
Finally something that Boeing would actually be responsible for. So many of these stories play on ignorance to stir up people. Now we are getting back to software/Hardware which is what caused those max planes to crash.
Damn. What’s next?
Diversity, Inclusion, Equity = D.I.E. Bye Bye Boeing!
Another reason I haven’t flown since 2012. TSA and fellow passengers were the original reason. I was sick of the idiots and pathetic at best supposed security.
And the unions who build them want more money.
Boeing is a prime example of a company that could stand to lose 70% of their office employees and do better.
That and the influx of millions of third world will turn us into...3rd world.
That is the goal of Soros types...our media and academia, either out of ignorance or ???, are absolutely complicit in our destruction.
America may have voted our way into this mess...we cannot however "vote" our way out.
The history of socialism/totalitarianism has proven that over the centuries.
When you see a rat, you kill the rat...you don't let it prosper and grow.
