The Tennessee National Guard has been tasked with assisting citizens struggling in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, but they’re doing so without the help of over 700 of their men. They were deployed to Kuwait by the Biden-Harris regime.
As independent journalist Nick Sortor reported from the ground, civilians are having to help each other in Eastern Tennessee where catastrophic flooding continues to put lives at risk.
Sortor posted to Twitter:
The Tennessee National Guard is NOWHERE TO BE FOUND in Eastern TN, despite MASSIVE flooding and missing people
Why? BECAUSE BIDEN & HARRIS DEPLOYED THEM TO THE MIDDLE EAST TODAY.
WTF?
People are trapped in their homes, multiple towns are underwater, and utilities are out, so PRIVATE CITIZENS are being relied on to haul in pallets of water and food.
The state simply does not have the resources to handle all of this now that their National Guard is overseas.
@ChrisHallWx and I just delivered 50 pizzas to first responders and the hospital in Newport, TN. It’s the first hot, fresh food they’ve had since the storm.
THIS IS INSANE.

I'm beginning to wonder if our Government used a weather machine to bring this storm to red states and then planned ahead to do everything possible to inhibit rescue services.
Neighbor helping neighbor is just natural but we have state National Guard units for a reason. And it is not to be sent overseas to support the Democrat/Republican war machine.
There was a storm in Kuwait?
America First.
For some reason SC national guard have been sent to Africa to build civil projects.
Makes as much sense as TN guard sent out.
>> a weather machine
Something like HARP?
Unbelievable.
There are roughly 16,000 Tennessee Army and Air National Guardsman. The deployment of 700 is 1) routine and 2) hardly leaving the citizens of Tennessee abandoned.
President Trump should talk about this.
Kuwait? What for?
Dear Democrats, Do you really want four more years of this kind of *leadership*??????
Is abandoning the American people what a democracy is all about? Is this democrat compassion at work?
“There are roughly 16,000 Tennessee Army and Air National Guardsman. The deployment of 700 is 1) routine and 2) hardly leaving the citizens of Tennessee abandoned.”
Every hand is needed in Tennessee right now. We have American citizens suffering as more and more of our tax dollars and resources are sent overseas to benefit others.
National.....Guard....If I had to guess, I’d say National Guard is a branch of the military who were tasked to guard America.
For Kuwait? Bull sh*t!
“There are roughly 16,000 Tennessee Army and Air National Guardsman. The deployment of 700 is 1) routine and 2) hardly leaving the citizens of Tennessee abandoned.”
Makes sense.
Hard to believe they can’t do two things
Never ending war in the Middle East sans declaration should not be routine.
4.4% is not trivial.
The fact that the National Guard has been sent out of the country makes me worried about what else the uniparty is going to do in our country.
This was my first thought as well...I counldn’t imagine 700 personnel completely debilitating a national guard of any state.
They are deployed to invade Iran when the attack comes and they kill Trump. They are to take out oil ports and occupy them to cut the oil lifeline that keeps Iran afloat. Iran war and WW III will keep the MAGA Hillbillies from sparking a Civil War. It will work too. Make sure the nukes hit Red States only. Lots of jobs for illegals rebuilding after the war. They don’t mind a little radiation exposure.
Why in hell are national Guard gong to a foreign land now? For what? There aren’t enough regular military to send to this hellhole for no reason?
BTW, I don’t think the purpose of NG is for storm rescues, either.
Kuwait will the staging areas for out involvement in the War with Hezbollah and Iran, so Biden & Company are already moving assets into the area.
